I love this deck. I knew about this Commander for a few months but I never thought about the idea of making it die over and over again with clones..... This is actually really powerful in good colors

Damn, dude, you've fully convinced me to build around this guy. I didn't think too highly of him at first but the more I'm thinking about it, the stronger this is with clones and topdeck manipulation like you're running!

It's very strong. I manipulated my deck to include 1 combo, and it's a turn 5 combo pretty reliably. If I wanted to go all in, I think I need more interaction though.

@@bettercommander Yeah I mean I like the combo potential, but really I've been looking for a good unique build for big splashy instants/sorceries and this may be the one to do. I tried building the Chris Pine commander as an izzet foretell deck with a lot of big dumb spells, but it's likely just going to go the wheels route for consistency, so I'll probably be reassigning the "big dumb instant/sorcery" archetype to this commander.

Thanks for inspiring me to finally make this deck. I watched a bunch of Hidetsugu and Kairi deck techs but none of them made me interested like yours did. I designed it like my Yargle and Multani (Yargltani on Mox) Golgari deck joined the Dimir so I added Archaeomancer, Mnenomic Wall, Phyrexian Delver, Reanimate and after a couple games of play testing the deck a few more silly cards to consider: - Panharmonicon double up the clone triggers, ex: Clone Archaeomancer get 2 spells back... I noticed the deck has so few creatures but the majority of them ETB. - Repay in Kind - Exquisite Blood, can combo with Repay in Kind and gain lots of life - Hulking Metamorph, can hit for 9 with Hiidetsugu and Kairi death trigger due to 9cmc but can clone for 4cmc alternative cost I am still debating if cards like Soldevi Adnate, Songs of the Damned, Bubbling muck would be great for fast mana in this deck :P
