In Northeast the Dimasa Kachari tribes considers themselves as descendants of Hidimba ..... Dimasa King’s Capital Dimapur erstwhile called as Hidimbapur. Quite interesting to know that even Himachalis tribes called it theirs 😅 good work by Brahmins to unite India through mythology 😁

After Ghatotkach was born Pandavas returned from the forest. After many years Hidimba, Ghatotkach and other people of their tribe migrated towards North East n established a kingdom in modern day Nagaland (Dimapur was their capital). The Kachari people are the descendants of ghatotkach
