Your channel has presented Turkey as a stunning cruising ground, with friendly and helpful people. Countering the images the news media presents. We are looking to pick up a catamaran in Croatia later this year and will plan to spend several months in Turkey as a result of your videos. Thank you.

@@SailingABSea Hi again. Things are ticking over I've done a delivery from Corsica to Port of Grimaud with a 44' azimut. I was supposed to take 38' power boat out of the water yesterday but the crane broke down, luckily we were not in the slings. It's been raining a lot so out door work is difficult but luckily I have my amante to take care of. All the best to you both and enjoy the days. A Swed in France

hello.... very good videos. Our family of Chile are lovers of Greek Sailig, twice Cyclades, Peloponeso, Ionian, and waiting the opportunity to return to others areas such as Esporades o Corfu en nuestro propio velero, if the doors of the countries will open post Covid.

Nice to sea you back on the water. Ramadan Kareem 🌙. I wanted to know how your fender covers were holding up? Was it worth buying this brand?
@SailingABSea3 жыл бұрын
Hi Michael, the covers are all still looking great except for one. It sadly got torn when we were side to on a restaurant jetty recently. Luckily we bought two extra covers so we'll change it for a new one. 👍

There has to be some civility... Even at anchor. 😀
@murraywestenskow28963 жыл бұрын
Just finished - the chicken dinners looked really good - and affordable. That anchorage and town looked really nice - especially with the wind protection. Question - how is your Turkish language coming along. Are you understanding? Or are there more Turk's that speak English - so you can still get along? I'll be sure to check out the affiliates thingie.

I started learning Turkish but I have taken a break so that I can integrate what I've learned so far. I find that while I get the 'grammar rules' quickly enough, my memory capacity for new words is slowing down my ability to hold a real conversation. I guess that's an age thing. But along the coastal towns most locals that we come across speak better English so we often revert to that. Thanks for checking out the other thing. 🤗😃
@SailingABSea3 жыл бұрын
We are fortunate that many Turks speak good English, however we think it's really courteous to at least begin a conversation with a hello or good day to you in Turkish, it shows some willing on our part.
