It's even logical from a gaming balance point of view, you can't make the player only lose oxygen when you see an animatronic then the doors will forever be shutted down.

I have a theory! The cut scenes represent the player, who is a child who went missing on their birthday. The mama chicken tells the chick they can go to Bondees Barnyard or whatever, and the flashes in the background probably show the true story, though I have not slowed down the video to see it. Anyways, Kou sees that the player needs help and offers to hide them in her to protect them. And on the final hour, the little cartoon image shows how Kou failed to protect the poor child.

I think you are absolute correct. The small chick that represents the child goes to Bondess for his birthday. It possible for the birthday cake cutsence shows a problem that happened in the kids party. This in turn caused then animatronics to lose it. The child hides in Kou for safety trying to not get shocks by the guard not knowing that you are in there, but shocks if he just see the robot move, with along the three other animatronics in there after them.

I agree the flashes in the background show a distorted pig and flesh instead of bricks for the first one and in the second one the flashes show the distorted sheep the third flash has bonndie normaly near a furnace and bonndie burning from the furnace the fourth one shows mama cuo helping the chick (child). Edit:I have a theory about molten bonndie he probably was burned by the light because the death that bonndie gives said some get burned by the sun or whatever. Or bonndie could have been good like mama cou but the child got scared and pushed him and he fell into the furnace.

They are helping the security guard to find the kid. Hence why the get to move, but Kou doesn’t resulting for the security guard to be suspicious of Kou’s behavior so he shocks the animatronic if it starts to shake thinking it’s on faulty or something. As for them coming to one spot, he thinks the others noticed it too and they check on Kou every once in a while.

Maybe the Night Guard's office is right by the intersection of the hallways that also lead to the ice cream bar. Maybe they're really that close to Kou and the kid, defending from the robots in the same way as they approach, erroneously assuming they're after them. Maybe that's why the guard shocks Kou on sight, because she's the one who's always closest to the office.

When you are playing a FNAF game, there is often that one animatronic that is special and has special measures/extra attention that is required to keep it away. If it moves, you are likely screwed so you have to keep it in place. And unfortunately for the kid, that's the exact kind of animatronic that they hid in.

I kinda like the idea of mama kou protecting the player fun fact: Some mother cows actually adopt orphaned calves this usually happens when the mother cow has lost her calf and is in grief so when a orphaned calf comes around this helps the mother cow not get stressed and that this is now her young in other cases the cow is trained to foster orphans like foals donkeys mules and calves fun fact for the day :D

I think the chick in the cartoonish cutscenes is supposed to represent the child/kid you play as? bc in the first cartoon scene the ‘mother’ duck says something along the lines of “you’ve been so good, why don’t you run along to have fun at the barnyard” Well when the child tried to leave, the cow wouldn’t let them. Having a strict protocol to not let any child leave without a parent, but the child parent never came with them. So the child is forced to stay with the cow, which i think is connected to the news paper clipping shown in the beginning. The cartoon cutscenes are showing what happened before? It’s also the chick’s birthday in the cartoon clips, the same as the missing child. So that connnects them as the same i believe. Anyways, i love this game and how the story is sort of open to interpretation! i’m so happy you played this, i hope to see more soon

Poor kid got traumatized by watching an Animatronic burn in front of him, I don't know if that's what got the animal to go hostile over the child or not. But kou does seem to protects us till the end but I also have my suspicion about it. Not to mention at the end when both doors closed on us and basically died due to suffocation, maybe the night-guard did kill is at the end but I have my suspicion on kou the cow as well. Cause at the beginning they said something about then safety protocols where they protect the adults and not kids.

They said that the robots wouldn't be able to kill an adult implying that they would be able to kill a child, I think this is supposed to be taken literally, meaning the robots aren't strong enough to kill an adult but they are strong enough to kill a child. Also, when the doors are closed you lose air faster than usual, but I'm pretty sure you can still breath like usual. Actually, I'm not sure if that percentage is even supposed to be breathing, it might actually represent the kids composure, maybe he has claustrophobia?

I HAVE A THEORY: So Kou thinks of the child as her own so she protects the kid, and the chick represents the child lost and those cutscenes represent what happened the night before the kid disappeared, the kid accidentally caught Bondee on fire and thought they would get in trouble so hid and Kou was nearby and decided to help the kid.

what if we get a "nightguard pov" on here but the rules is like fnaf but ACTUALLY zapping the animatronics if they move because they aren't meant to be moving or zapping them "in theory" to its creators it might be a malfunction and a zap will stop them from moving and the main focus is meant to be at the cow bc it always opens and closes doors and lights. but this time, the energy from the kid doing that is having the effect on the night guard? like while the kid uses the electricity the night guard has to wind it up over and over again. like fnaf 2's marionette/puppet mechanic
