Not everybody academic good. Some are born prefer to use their hands physically to build things like carpentry or construction, cooking, painting art, music instruments. To force our children to do otherwise will harm them instead.

That's one heck of a punishment for getting expelled. I'm surprised family didn't step in sooner to help. It looked like decades of hoarding, not throwing anything away and not cleaning. All respect to the young man for tackling that nightmare mess.
