Great content, I’ve brought a b10 about 4 weeks ago and have just upgraded the controller and m wanting to do the same with the battery? Do you notice much difference in speed with swapping out batteries? What volts did you go for ? Thanks Mike

I had the battery from another project. It's a 30 amp/hour 48 volt. I've left the controller stock and decided 20mph is where I like it. PAS3, but it goes up to about 28 as it is now on PAS 5. Having the ability to go faster would be nice, but I guess I'm just not in a hurry enough to spend the dough for it. I was looking at @GrinTechnologies stuff before I let go of the idea. I still watch their new vids when I see them. He answers all the questions in a few presentations. Great channel.

They have them on Ali Express. Same exact seat with different covers. It really doesn't help unless you get an actual spring for under it. Don't buy the bracket at this link, just the seat. You'll need a 110mm spring shock for a scooter. I bought a 125 and it tilts the seat and it's uncomfortable. 110mm would be best. I’m new to this. Can I put a 48 v 50ah battery on it without changing the controller or anything. Would it mess up the motor?

As long as you can fit the battery on the bike you can use the same voltage. I put a 30aH battery I had from another project in here. I'm still using the stock controller on mine. The only thing is if you want real signals you'll have to upgrade the controller or bolt on a solution that doesn't use it. At some point I'll probably break down and get a controller that supports trun signals/brake light.

@@AvocadoRob thank you that’s what I was thinking. Next question could I make it a 52 volt by changing the controller? Would the motor take it or no? Would it be a big hassle to make it into a 52v?

Imma try a 100mm and i found a 90mm do u think thts to small

You might be leaning back at 90mm. Could be a good idea to grab a few and see. The one's I got were under $20 each.

I've settled on a 100mm. I would go with something more than 300. Mine's kinda soft but the height is right. I might look for a 600lb version. It's a work in progress.
