I know I may get backlash for this one. I am so thankful that so many spirits are as loving and kind to our other children-speaking from viewing numerous rescue feeds. I’ve shed tears, from sadness to joy, on most. I truly have much admiration and respect for all in this chosen career. Ok, ready? I am surprised with the caregivers (some with experience of mom and newborn pups’ interaction) lack of insight as to how newborn puppies should be fed. They are usually alone, on the bed and/or floor, unwrapped, with their paws continuously moving in a “pumping” motion. We know they instinctively huddle for several weeks. It is also a known fact, that “bonding” with newborns, two or four-legged, occurs with touch, comfort and a sense of security. I’m not trying to offend anyone; if I do, please forgive. Keep up The Love!
