I've been looking at many of your videos...amazing guitar playing on keyboard ! Thank you. Question: If I want to play delicate ballads, which guitar sound library would be most suitable? I'm looking at 1) OrangeTreeSamples Evolution Songwriter, 2) Musiclab RealGuitar 6, 3) AmpleSound Guitar (maybe AGL), 4) Native instruments Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic, or 5) Pianobook MG Soft Nylon Guitar. Which would be your top 2 for delicate guitar playing?

Yes. These are in the course. I’m only giving a few videos for free on YT and will be going deeper in my course.

Great tutorial! I love Ample and all the new features in the latest versions. However, I noticed that one of the most important parts to make it sound more realistic, the fretboard sounds when you change chords, isn't present in newer versions. I tried turning up the controls to the max, but it's still not as noticeable as in earlier versions.
@Lord_V202 жыл бұрын
Can specify the version, you mean v3 or v2, because I myself noticed that V2 acoustic guitars sounding better and has more fretboard sounds then the latest
@MetroPolo12 жыл бұрын
@@Lord_V20 Exactly. V2 used to have more fretboard sounds in All the acoustic guitars. Now the only one with decents amounts of that is the AGL.

@@MetroPolo1 check your settings. Is Auto Off Velocity checked? Also, raise the volume of the release noise, et al in the fx mixer window on the main page. It should sound like the older one. It may just be the preset.

Excellent I wish I had found these tutorials earlier. I have just purchased the full acoustic course. I followed the finger picking video before I purchased the full course and you talk about Midi Modifiers which I noticed is in Cubase which I dont have. I use Ableton Live 11 and Studio One. Do you know if the same modifiers are in these DAW'S. Cheers Stay Safe John

ample sound acoustic guitars sound a bit off to me. I'm not a fan of the way the samples randomize, because sometimes I like the way certain notes sound but the tone of some other notes too sound very off. adjusting the velocities help a bit, but it doesn't do it. Ruben could you try to program a riff(no strums, no arpegios) like the ones in juice world , the kid laroi and summer walker songs?
@hifimidi2 жыл бұрын
I think the problem is that ample sound keeps natural tuning on all their strings. As you likely know, guitars naturally sound out of tune the higher you play up the neck. Companies like tune track have an option to have “perfect tuning” across every string and fret and one for natural tuning. I’ve asked for this option, and hopefully they’ll implement it sometime in the future. Otherwise it can sound chorusy. Is that what you’re talking about?
@brazytupac1292 жыл бұрын
@@hifimidi what i mean is if u choose fingerstyle and u draw any note in riffer and then you click on that note to audition it, the first time u click has a tone, when u click on that same note again, it gives another tone (sometimes you may like the second one but you can't really make it happen because the guitar samples it randomly and automatically), so after programming , the samples for each note keep recycling unlike in picking style where the note sounds the same no matter how many times u audition it. i would like to have a consistent sound in fingerstyle mode.
@chrisgreenwell34042 жыл бұрын
@@brazytupac129 Do you have CycleX3 turned on in the sample cycle , if so turn that off and see what you get.
