What's also so advanced yet traditional is how they train their bones. We don't do that much in the states. We spar and hit bags and build muscle but we should probably be hitting bricks and wood more often as a weekly part of martial artsing

Although both have very similar kata's and forms, Shuri styles tends to be harder on the joints and smaller muscle groups then Naha styles, Naha styles stick to the belief of the need for a lighter conditioning, whereas Shuri styles condition their bodies in a much more hardened way, both are practical but bit different, Naha is practical for day to day life, Shuri is practical for combat and fighting, just 2 sides of the same coin, good eyes!

There are plenty of 'fake masters' around, who wouldnt stand a chance in any kind of fight. This man, is NOT one of them. I had a friend, a fighter, attend one of his seminars. He told me that his fists are hard as steel, as is his body, and when he gets into sanchin stance... he is immovable.
