Your channel here is just getting more interesting with every video, as you are showing a different aspect of your lives. I admire your crafting skills and I am inspired by your work on the wool coat. My husband's old coat has similar holes so now I will attempt to fix them in a similar way to yours. Thank you for your videos!
Thank you for your video. It's wonderful to see the care that you put into repairing and adjusting existing items. There is far too much new "stuff" in the world and a lot of it is not good quality, so it's very important to care for the things we already have. Your work on the wallet was great! I loved you saying that the time and effort you put into repairing and caring for it made you want to use and care for it for a long time (even though it belongs to someone else! Ha!). I think that is the very reason that people throw away things that are still good - it's because the have not spent enough time and care with them and so haven't formed an attachment that would make a difference. Take care and I look forward to your next vlog!

Thank you too! Yes absolutely, it's shame that we have to admit there're tons of things in low price and quality in the market but it's nice to know that many people like you feel the same way that we feel about things. The wallet, at some point I was so into working on it, almost I believed it's mine haha. My friend was so surprised and loved it, (he's still using it of course) so I'm so glad that all of my effort made him happy and think to care things more!
This was absolutely fascinating! You did an awesome job! The felting was so genius and I do so appreciate the sustainability and maintenance of the things you cherish💕👍🏻 Thank you for sharing this. It is really valuable 😊

My husband had to watch this one with me since he is really into mending right now. He has been mending his wool sweaters and jean jacket, as of late. We checked out this great book from the library, that you might have heard of since it was translated from Japanese into English, called "Mending with Love". I would recommend it!

Well done, you made such a good job of those. I’m trying to adopt the same mindset of mending things rather than replacing them. It’s better for everyone that we don’t send things to landfill unnecessarily 👍🏻💐🏴

Just last week I took out my wool jackets and coats searching for damages by moth or loose ends, missing buttons because the weather was bad and I had nothing to do. I also weave threads into the holes and cover the tiny repairs by felting. Therefore I store raw wool in different colours in a drawer. Such repairs are highly recommended and nearly invisible. Some really bad areas can be covered with a tiny patch and embroidery. It just has to look fancy - as it was meant to be there :-) Another thing is to take care of the leather goods. You did a very good job on this worn out piece. I have an old purse with a loose seam and will give it a try with glue and sew.. I could not get rid of it, because it is still pretty and maybe not a hopeless case at all.

Thank you for sharing your story and tips about your repairing! It's nice to hear you really care your tings and mend by yourself too! Also I love you say you can't get rid of your purse, I feel same way on many things that I love... Hope you can find the way to revive it! 🍀
