Yes Princess Bride was filmed further down the hill near Carl Wark giving views of Higger Tor. Was slso filmed at Haddon Hall and Cave Dale too. 80s nostalgia filmed. You should see where you can spot in it. 🤣 Love it there easy to get to for a perfect sunset. Great video.

I must have been onto Higger Tor 20+ times in my lifetime and never once have I heard of the Kit Kat stones. They look fantastic and I must go up there sometime soon to find them. The most famous (to my knowledge up there) is Leaning Block, a rock column jutting out from the main rock edge to the south. You asked for other food related rock names in the PD, how about the Pots & Pan Stone on Aldermans Hill? That's a great hike and area. Also much less frequented, right up your street I reckon Top video as always, thankyou for taking us along 👍

Never heard of those rocks so will definitely add them to our places to see 👌 ☺️ perhaps we'll go with pots and pans if we can't find chocolate related items 🤣 as for the main rock on Higger Tor, we either completely missed it all together or just not noticed 🤔 another reason to go back and have another look 👍

Hi there! Really enjoying your Peak District videos. Don't know if I have missed one but have you covered Lathkill Dale ( one of my favourite dales ). If not then you could visit the old Mandale mine buildings, and ( in wet weather ) the source of the river Lathkill at Lathkill head cave. Of interest also would be a trip below Batemans house to see the hidden shaft - and the "illuminating handle" - If you have been there then you will know what I mean! Keep up the good work and look forward to the next video.

*York is beautiful and the shambles is ace, crazy busy though. We went Christmas and it was mad. Some great views from up there, we actually went Padley/Longshaw Estate last week*

Thanks for watching Richard and great question. It's actually something we've thought about for a little while, somewhat of a "behind the scenes". In short, it is our 360 cam on the pole, we use it in every video, can't get enough 😅

Can't get over the similarities between the Peak District and Dartmoor, having to double take in places! Very lovely. Love how you worked in the footage from all the locations you could see from the summit! Early is always best, up with the sparrows to beat the crowd ❤️ 🤫
