High Anxiety Cavapoo Transformed In 3 Weeks

Well Peeps... Tam, the Cavapoo, is now back home with his parents, after spending 3 weeks with us, learning how to control his impulses and cultivate a calmer state of mind.
You see, Tam came to us with one main issue - hyper-arousal paired with a thin thread of insecurity! Because of this, it was impossible to get him to settle down, focus, pay attention, or listen. And forget about it when something new entered the equation! This emotionally disregulated pupper would go bananas at the sight of other humans or dogs. Add to that, Tam had a pretty severe attachment issue that was turning increasingly more annoying with all that chatter and fuss.
Now Tam is equipped with the ability to self regulate and make better choices when distractions are at their highest. His owners now have the knowledge to follow through with his obedience and continue to pattern Tam for calm behavior so that they can continue to have the everywhere dog they’ve always wanted! All it takes is a bit of practice to master the tools (of which they have a massive head start because they are dedicated), and not feeling mean for imposing structure and boundaries around the house.
They have one great dog on her hands, and Tam has one set of rockstars parents! They are going to have an amazing life together!
