I like to run the BAR as a wicked accurate single shot/open-sight sniper... most effective.

Would you recommend fully upgrading the m2 carbine? I'm not sure if the damage boost is even worth it. I'll for sure upgrade it to get the recoil reduction

the dmg upgrade is important, since it it 2shots soldiers with vitality after upgrading

What would you think about American riflemen being able to use the BARa2. I’m not a high tier player, and I don’t know the balancing of weapons but I think it would be really awesome to have 9 guys with BARs and m2 carbines.

That completely goes against the whole point of that system. At that point just make it 7 man squads that you can build however but it’s nicely balanced now.

1:18 Tell me about it... I often find myself and maybe one or two other players doing 95% of the work. The amount of times I will go back and forth, back and forth, and back between objectives as I cap one and the other gets lost because my team can't hold it without me, and can't take the other without me either. It's so annoying.

My biggest issues with the "USA" faction is, 1) the M1 Garand was the PRIMARY issued weapon in WWII (with some exceptions to the rule like early war USMC using 1903s) and you have to grind through 8 researchs just to get it. 2) "USA" is NOT American. It should be called "Allied" because of the British and Commonwealth units in it. (likewise "Germany" should be "Axis"). Yes, I know Brits and Italians will get their own faction eventually, and I hope it happens soon. When a new player who knows of WWII first, before video games, comes in to see the game, they see that Gaijin/Darkflow doesn't know what they are talking about after reading the "The weaponry, soldier’s uniform, appearance and capabilities of the vehicles in the game are in line with historical facts." description on the website, they will know the developers are full of shit. No, capabilities are very much nerfed on many weapons. Heck, you cannot even make a standard squad according to regulations in any faction. If they make those kinds of claims and not follow through, is it really that surprising when they dick over existing players concerning the Steam release? Now you guys all know how the historians feel...

I dual wield the 1941 Johnson LMG with the Browning 1919 for the same reason as you use the Bar2. More mobile and great for long distance semi-auto sniping. Maybe I'm crazy but I actually enjoyed using the M18 tank destroyer while grinding my way to the top. Sure, it's very weak. But it's SO fast and low profile that you'd be surprised how many cocky Tiger players you can take out from the concealment of some trees or houses.

Fast, comparably small to most tanks, enough penetration to broadside thicker tanks with an ambush? What's not to love imo!

I am lucky enough that I bought the Tempest MK V british fighter when it was available, it's fantastic to pair with the P-47D, It's 4 x 20mm cannons absolutley tear planes a new one and it has 2 x Mk4 500lb bombs. The pilot has weird perk point levels, but if you get the jump on the enemy, they've had it, it's my favourite fighter without doubt, plus it's got that RAF battle of britain cool thing about it. it looks like a Spitfire that did a load of roids....😂

I have killed 10+ tanks playing mortars I have a lineup of 4 mortar squads + paratroopers for 2 extra mortars with 20 rounds

Would you say that Br II is still the most fun or is Tier III better (Tier I-III fight each other) Hesitant to get into high BR

High BR is now pure cancer zero fun way too many real tryhard players so it's always the stomps for one of the sides. Merge ruined high BR to me.

low br is the most fun still, it allows for the most type of strategies. mid br will be of similar greatness once it gets separated from other BRs and high BR is overly boring, since its only about rushing. but its fun to play it sometimes due to the contrast to other BRs and many weapons there are fun to experience.

I like how the advantage of the m2 car over the thompson 50 is that the "M2 2 shots a vitality upped soldier at medium distance, whilst the Thompson needs 2 hits" lel. Also if you are running M2s, you better get big ammo pouches instead of being able to carry 2 weapons or you will run out of ammo really quick. To me the perfect line-up is 1 rifleman squad, 2 machine gunner squads, 1 para/flame squad, 1 tank and 1 plane squad. if you can get an extra slot, bring either the squad you didnt bring in the para/flame or go for a second plane.

ngl, i played like 3 days after a year or so and i uninstalled it how unbalanced and how many chinese players have stormed EU servers that prefiring before the even appear in my screen. game is disaster.

If darkflow was being historically accurate M2 Carbine would be classified as an assult rifle (which it literally is) and would be after thompsons.

Edit: I got a couple numbers wrong, but I'm well within the ball park and my point still stands, but yes. I wasn't 100% right on the numbers. I am proportionally correct even with the slightly wrong numbers. The 75mm M3 gun on the Sherman II, M4A2, M24 Chaffee, and Jumbo should have a slightly better shell. The shell it has right now is M72. Solid AP. Has 89mm of penetration at 10 meters. So that's why it's quite ineffective. There is an improved shell called M61 shot. 102mm of pen at 10 meters and also has an explosive filler like most other AP ammo in game. It may seem like it's negligible, but it is not. Late Panzer 4 front hull is 80mm. The weaker AP, M72, can only get through that at point blank ranges for tanks (100m to maybe 175m). Where as the stronger shell, M61, can penetrate the front of a Late Panzer 4 out to 250m, and maybe 300. Also dealing much greater damage as every other nation's Shell's do. The kicker is that this shell was apparently in game very early when Jumbo was first added. German mains complained that it was op against tigers which is laughable (only penetrating front of tiger well under 100m). There is a forum post on steam asking for this shell back with the new addition of the panther at the time. I feel this shell is surely needed and would recommend a warthunder video on the difference between M61 and M72 AP shells in the US 75mm. Doesn't seem like it would be a big change, but I believe it would just give the US tanks what they should already have, and will point out that besides Japan America's has the weakest tanks. So American tanks are possibly a handicap. So essentially Dark Flow has handicapped a handicapped set of vehicles. I love playing US armor regardless, just want everything I can have to help. I would love if you could draw attention to this as this would be such an easy ease of life change that Dark Flow could implement incredibly easily. So i would propose that the Sherman II should be an exception and retain the current and weaker M72 solid AP to promote better balance at lower BRs.
