Do you suggest keeping a little root? Also, should it be smudged when doing baby lights or can it be achieved a little bit just with baby lights? Sorry so mant questions;-)

Hi Mandi! 🥰So sorry for the delay in response, I have been so sick the whole month of October! Yes, I find leaving a little root helps me more with the blend! In the front near the money piece I leave no root, but as I work my way backward on the top of the head, I leave some root bc I find the slight gradient helps blend it as it grows out (and there’s not a harsh straight line of demarcation)! You can also do a slight root shadow too if that helps! And YES baby lights are even better because it creates a more seamless blend in my Opinion! 😍

@@thegirlnextdoord omg I hope you feel better! Well, the girl that did my hair really bleached it out. :-( and it isn't what she told me I would have. I am dealing with it, but I paid $360 (before a tip) to have the integrity of my hair jeopardized. But, after almost $100 on hair care products on Amazon, and using coconut oil, it is feeling a little better. Thank you for asking (in your other post) xoxo P.s. what state r you in, can u be my stylist ha!

Love the vid, no cape babe?

Hello Lauren! No cape on myself for filming purposes, and my workspace is extremely tiny. I’ve gotten so used to doing it without one. However, always 1000% use a cape on my clients of course!! ☺️

Does this not make it harder to get the roots blonde? Because now you put dye on virgin hair and if you would do a highlift on virgin hair immediatly that looks easier to me...
@thegirlnextdoord3 жыл бұрын
I have tried so many high lifts and for whatever reason the color is always too yellow! I can never get it to lift light enough. Can you suggest anything? Always open to suggestions!
@angelinebiswas76112 жыл бұрын
Eeew highlifts should only be used on like a level 6.5-7 otherwise it just lifts and deposits WAYY too orange because of that underlying pigment. Her natural is level 5 there’s no highlift that I know of that would work. Bleach is much easier and often time safer because you have to use 30/40 volume on a high-lift where as with lightener you can easily use 10-15-20 volume low and slow
