Are pilots required to submit to a “field sobriety” test (the “walk heal/toe, stand on one foot” test) even though these tests are totally subjective are often failed by people without any alcohol in their blood? Can this test be declined as long as they submit to a objective test, i.e., blood/alcohol test?

Don’t listen to this. They take into account each situation. Talked to a HIMS AME yesterday with dui’s in my late teens early 20’s and now completely sober couple years and 41 years old. AME said first class is doable with the tests 🙏🏻
