Teachers LOVE a good t-shirt, and I realized I could turn that into a side gig. I used Crafted Threads for hilarious teacher-themed designs, grabbed a Cricut printer off Amazon, and started selling them to colleagues. It began as a joke, but now I’m selling to teachers across the district and even funding classroom supplies with the profits. If you're in education, this is a fantastic side hustle!

Looking back at 2024 the only reason I had any success is because I watched your 2024 todo list video. I just wish I had completely invested in it and invested less time chasing shadows. I also wish I had not spent a dime on Etsy ads after July when they shifted completely to their new ad model. Sales quadrupled once I turned off etsy ads.

Ita bags are great but they can take a long time to find a manufacturer and get a design finalised - then production takes a while too! Mualcaina has a video on her journey with her ita bags and if I remember correctly it took her two years at least and a lot of bts work! Ita bags are not for the faint of heart lol

What is the minimum erank membership that I would need to see the number of searches as well as the competition for keywords on the list - without having to search each keyword individually to see complete information? The free version is pretty close to useless in this regard.

Some valentine stuff isn't just for valentine's, could be anniversary etc, also I think it's mostly for search rankings but if it's a supply then people will be looking to make and possibly list things in time for the big day and of course there's always someone who is super organised 🤣

It's probably related to a business. Also you have to calculate with the shipping time, it can be 1 month between countries from different continents. I start uploading and advertising my Halloween bracelets in the beginning of September for example.

I sell at Etsy for 7 years now, antique jewelry. Never a complain, but....I HATE the new form, why did they have to change something that worked so good into something so horrible. Any one els has a problem with that ? By the way I use to list 4 to 5 items a day and now maybe once a week.

Very interesting finds, thank you! Though I wouldn't go as far as saying that one can build an entire business on the moss and mushroom theme. It seems to be a temporary trend. Funny that you mentioned Valentine's day searches picking up. I decided to skip Christmas altogether (busy holiday period might not be the best time to open a new shop, considering the learning curve and potential teething problems) and configured a bunch of listings for Valentine cards instead (not live yet, so clearly need to chop-chop).
