Canada is not a country where u will suggest someone to do short courses of computer or Excel courses and then expect to get a job and that too in the current era of AI. That time or era ur thinking abt is long gone. Such statements can be misleading and give a very simplified view of the canadian market. First thing is that Its a first world country and second that there are many other factors involved so ONLY highly-skilled people and highly valued practical degrees have a value in Canada and additionally, a license from govt. is required to work in almost all other fields (except IT).
