I think it looked great but I understand you wanting to get it as close to the OG. When I saw you doing the twists the 1st thing that popped into my mind was using a long wooden dowel. That's what I'd use. I would say I can't believe you used old Pringle cans but I'd be lying, lol. The different types of materials you use for your creations are just as creative as the project itself. Well done Yoduvh... 👏 😉

I love that you use something accessible to everyone that normally would be thrown away to make art. One thing that is missing in all of your videos is more time at the end for us to properly see the finished product. I think the end result is always shown so briefly and I'd like to see more so I can decide if it is something I'd want to invest in getting the products to make myself. Zooming in to see the details and also having a still side by side comparison would be fantastic so we can see the difference.

You could have twisted them by rolling them on a pencil then stretch them out. Would have made it easier to add extension also. Still if I had your skills, I probably would never purchase anything again; I'd just make it.

When you try again, try using the clear shower curtain for longer strips and they're viable. May need to spray something to harden after final spray painting.
