Ok, so I have to ask you.... what was your training like? Like I'm looking at these people and they're just the example of fitness, just extremely limber, flexible, mobile, extremely great cardio and core strength.
@MichaelCBryan6 ай бұрын
@@Istanbul0687 back then we didn’t think of training like we do now. Now it’s much more holistic. Equilibrium and balance is key. Flexibility and STRETCHING combined with cardio HIIT training and boxing and yoga is the trick now. I am nearly 60 and I work out two hours a day and feel absolutely fantastic. And it’s because, I craft my life around that no matter what. And because of that age is not really a factor for me. It’s the true recipe for a good life

Just found your channel, amazing mixes! I'm not into cardio / aerobics, but I do know a thing or two about long distance running / skating. As an experiment, decided to rip this mix and do a longboarding session on it with gps runkeeper. End of mix workout stats: Average speed: 26 km/h Max speed: 59 km/h (down the only appropriate bike lane'd hill we have in the Netherlands) Oddest gps blips: the tempo change / break in the mix at 37 minutes. That's exactly where I came upon the steepest incline. "Runaway man" Perfect. Appreciate the "step up the pace" comment, that's when I needed it most. Bit my tongue, kept going and absolutely killed that hill section. Runners high set in just when Mitch Murder came on. The landscape leveled off and I could see the horizon again, making me push just that bit faster. Ace! Final distance: 36.8 km. Holy shit. That is a personal best for me. And that's after a long hiatus of over a year. Honestly, I'm not even sore in the legs. Muscles feel absolutely fine. If this mix was 4 hours, I could go for that amount of time. The human body is something else.. This might just be the perfect longboarding backdrop music for me. It keeps excellent pace, works for with-the-wind pushing as well as against-the-wind pushing, it's dripping in 80's synthwave glory and it keeps me going like an energiser bunny. Thanks for sharing Danny!

GREAT selection of songs. The transition from song to song is SEAMLESS!! Especially love how towards the end of the mix, the faster tempo songs gel together (the lady saying "Pick up the pace a little bit" is a nice segue' to, lol). I used Mitch Murder's "Playing For keeps" in my synthwave workout mix as well (it's on my 'MishMosh800' page if you wanna see my tracklist and compare notes), but I slowed it down towards the end of the song in order to segue into a slower song. A slower song that I feel, sounds just like Mitch's song, but slowed down.
