This is the beginning of a project that will eventually integrate a physical PLC to control the behavior of the simulated robot controller. Currently, each of the two robots are able to track and manipulate a sheet metal object on a conveyor belt using a collection of smart components with unique inputs and outputs. The second robot is able to stack the sheet metal parts by incrementing the last height that a part was deposited at by the part's thickness. Next steps will be to make a more robust stacking algorithm that uses smart components to sense the distance away from a previously stacked object.
