HIGH GAS PRICES My Interview FOX 5 DC 2006 What was president Bush and Schumer's plan then?

I did this interview in 2006 at the height of the then Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland high gas prices, here is a look back at what they had to say then and my take. Been 15 years since i did this interview. Many things have changed since then but one thing stays the same station owners like myself don't make any money during these high prices just big oil. Also support local gas stations large corporations are largely buying up land next to mom and pops and putting them out of business.
this was a post katrina price increase that lasted a few years. very tough times for station owners, very very good for big oil.

Notice how nobody says the words “public transit” - that would’ve fixed this problem for good yet we didn’t do it, and now we’re screwed.
