Yup just hold the Aces (especially pair of them) when playing DDB or TDB. Keeping the 2 pairs hoping for Full house is not a guarantee as you saw in this video. Might as well hope for the 4 Aces

You’d be correct if this wasn’t ultimate x. 2 pair is a guaranteed 3x multiplier and full house is 12x

Just hold the Aces in DDB or TDB, especially if you already have some multipliers. You don’t get the opportunity that often with Aces. I know people will say in ultimate you’re going for multipliers, but rarely do you get the full house and then another good hand back to back. Just my way of playing. Good luck

In ultimate x that’s not correct, multipler is 3x for 2 pair and 12x for full house

On double double, I always keep the pair of Aces and discard anything else. On Jacks or better, I keep 2 pairs even if one pair is aces. I watched alot instruction videos and also do an online video poker tutorial. Still learning best strategy but i wing it sometimes if it feels good! Lol

Yes, the difference is the multiplier where a full house is in play. That's why I don't play Double Double on multiplier games, it requires to much thinking 🙂

Because 2 pair has a 3x multiplier, the correct play on UX is to keep AAJJ and similar.

It actually depends how big your multiplers are. The general rule for 2 pair with aces is somewhere around the number of hands you are playing times 5. Thus if your total multiplers add up to more 25, hold only the pair of aces. The fact that you need to adjust your strategy based on how big your multiplers are is something that very few people seem to take into account. But it ultimate X it makes a massive difference.
