I've been watching these high mileage videos for a while. My 1500 Limited finally arrived after a long 6 month wait, and I just wanted to say that these videos have been really useful to me. Also, I got the Ramboxes and mine came with the bed divider thing, and during the 6 month wait the dealer told me that it was an optional extra, so who knows

I feel the same with my 2020, feels like spaceship down the road. I guess we have driven a spaceship before, sorry I had to say it. 😂 Hated the original tires as well, swapped them immediately for BFG KO2s. Sorry I just got to this video so late, but the bed divider/ bed extender come with these truck that have ram boxes of course. What doesn’t come with is the actual set up or hooks so you can lower the tailgate and hook up the bed divider that is actually a bed extender to secure longer cargo. You can take the little rug part of it out and it will become a full weather mat

My dad has a 19 ram 1500 limited with the e torque. It’s got 50k miles. Only issues were the radio tuner knob stop working once. After the truck was off for a few hours it started working again. No issues with it since. Oh and the tailgate sometimes doesn’t want to work the first try.

First thing to do with the painted bumpers is to get a clear bra protector. Did mine and no rock chips 35k miles. Also, you can lock the truck in a high position, there is an aftermarket kit for $50. And my air ride is Exactly level I measure it all the time, so when you said you were not sure, park it level with tires even, it will measure perfectly. They use the arm measure system and that’s how they achieve perfect level (one front fender to the other or rear fender to the other). Best truck I’ve ever owned. Oh. One last thing, there is a AC hack if you look it up on 5th gen forums, I did it and my AC blows ICE COLD all the time, even at idle. Super great truck for sure!!!!!! RAM hit it way out of the park.

When it comes to rock chips on your front end, I invested in PPF. Know as paint protection film. I use X-pel. It has a 10 warranty. It is zUV protected and self healing. It will stop your bug and rick issues. You can have the entire front end done including headlights. I went crazy on mine and had front fenders, complete front end, A pillars, hood, half roof, tailgate and behind the rear wheels. Was a 2700.00 investment in Detroit area. Great review btw. Thanks

Seriously the best review of a ram I have ever seen. I have always been very hesitant of ram based on the poor reliability and problems historically with the ram. It’s great to hear that it seems that Ram has really stepped up its game. The only thing is the AC performance. TFL did a test between the F150 and the ram and there is a distinct difference in the AC output. The Ford blows way way colder and harder. Hope ram fixes this. Thank you for a great review

Hey Travis. Yeah, the AC is the real let down. BUT, after talking with a lot of the viewers here, it sounds like there is a simple fix. I am going to investigate further and keep you posted.

I have a 2020 ram limited with 3.92 axle ratio with rambox and it came with the bed divider. It’s standard with ram box according to my dealer.

@@MrJustinWheeler I mostly leave in one position, about a 16 inches away the tailgate. It comes in handy for groceries and other things. It’s really useful to prevent items sliding around. Use a bungee cord or net and you could fix things to it. I also have a bakflip MX4 bed cover.

Fantastic love the rebel look, got most of the opinions available for it, its pretty much loaded minus the sunroof & multifunction split tail gate. Love the ram box. Can't wait for the winter, will have no problems pulling my enclosed v trailer with 2 snowmobiles. 😜

Look up your build sheet and it will say what it is supposed to have included. So if it has the bed divider on there, show it to the dealer

I thought mine came with the bed divider too as I ordered the bed utility group. My only negative for mine is fuel economy but that’s because I do a ton of city driving especially during covid I haven’t touched the interstate. As much as I like your truck I hate wheels over 17” and the smallest I could get where 20s with my model. They look good black (I got the blacked out package) but when my lease is up idk what I’ll do. My 06 1500 has 17s and that’s my work/offroad truck. The 2020 is too new right now to go on trails even though the dogs and kids tear up the inside lol. The 305s are nice but I think I’ll add a 2.5-4” lift and do 315s.

I’ve never been particularly fond of big wheels, but I think Ram did a really good job picking this set of wheels for this truck. All that said, when the tires are ready for a replacement, I’ll likely be lifting the truck with a new rim/tire combo.

I have a 2019 Classic (Hemi) with a highway gear, I'm getting 20-21 mpg, but I drive with the cruise control. Towing my 18' boat (2300#), it drops to 15 mpg in the mountains. I haven't towed the boat on the flat highway

“If you order the truck from a dealer, you will get the divider if they add the bed utility group AFTER adding the rambox option. If they add the bed utility group BEFORE adding the rambox option, you will not get a divider”. Seems stupid to me. You should grt the bed divider. I guess check the window sticker to see if its on there. I bought my wife a suburban ltz which came standard. With 22 inch rims. The pictures the dealer posted even showed them. But when we went down, it had the 18inch standard LT rims on it. Dealer wanted to charge me extra to put 22 inch rims and tires on it but i showed him on the window sticker that it was included and their own pictures of the vehicle. They had to order the rims and tires and put them back on for free. He later admitted that they took the original ones off and put them on a lower trim tahoe for a customer as part of an agreement and tried to get away with giving me lower trim wheels. They are scam artists.

Go to your settings for your mirrors and when you put it in reverse the mirrors face down tword the back tires and when you put it in drive the mirrors go back to normal also you can set up were your e brake comes on as soon as you put the truck in park to release the e brake press the brake I think pull to release

My 17 Laramie with air ride just turned over 50k. Everything is still showroom, inside and out. I had a 07 ram I drove to 120k, only replaced a water pump and tie rods. Had a 10 Silverado, lots of issues. Which is why I am back with Ram and when I upgrade my 17, I'm going Ram again. Your truck is gorgeous. I've thought about buying the leveling links for my front air bags, have you considered it?

I put on the same ridge grapplers they are smooth not noisy at all, do you know if you can download the windows with the remote control?, good to know on the truck honking while putting air on the tires, good tip on lowering the side steps to protect the truck lol, mine didn't come with the bed divider so I get one used from a guy on ebay and it works good I wish it will be easier to move like you have to twist the center key and they you open the side arms but it will be better just to twist the center key to unlock and not to unfold the arms to move it, but definitely they should give it with the truck, I got the ram all weather mats in amazon on discount for like $80 and they are really good, also the mud flaps they protect a lot the sides of the truck, I remember the other issue I have with the tailgate it sometimes don't open I have to push it so I can opened it I have to take it to the dealer to find out what is going on

As far as I know, you cannot roll down the windows with the remote. In order to do that, I think you have to have the Tazer mod. How much did you pay for the bed divider? I might have to pick one up too. Thanks for watching!

I have a 2019 Dodge ram classic that has a bad problem I'm not wanting to start you don't know if you get off if you're going to get back or not especially if you're out in the woods or will in some place it's been in the shop for a five times for the same thing and it's starting to do the same thing again I'm lucky that it's still on the factory warranty but I would never ever buy another tits anything I had a thoughts journey spent $2,000 a month every month on that piece of junk and never will only touch anything take my advice and don't buy a Dodge

Just so you know I had the same problem with the lows of my radio rattling but the dealer told me it was the back power sliding window. So when you playing a song with a lot of bass the sliding window rattles so when you use hand and put pressure against the window while playing the sung it stops rattling so therefore the bass cause the sliding window to rattle., another thing if your radio software haven't been updated in 2019 before I think August 25th it needs updating so the subwoofer will start to play when before it will not play so make sure truck has the latest software update

@The guy talked about the A/C blowing, there was a problem but ram did a software update and now it cools very well! My wasn't cooling but since update that problem has been solved.

You did not get hosed. Made the same mistake when ordering. You have to order the bed utility group to get the divider. Which is stupid Bc when you get a Laramie/limited it already has everything the bed utility group gets you. The rails. The led lights everything. And the divider is only available with the ramboxes. But sadly you still have to order it with ramboxes and the bed utility group in order to get the divider. I found one on Facebook market place and had a lock smith rekey the cylinder to work with my trucks factory key.

I believe you only get the divider as part of the Bed Utility Group. Ram box is a separate option as well as the multifunction tailgate

Agree with all you said. My 19 Ram Limited With 22” Rims. Tires were shot at 27,000. I did not know about the horn blowing when adding air. Sorry I can’t tell you how right now. I’m not in my truck. But, You can delete saved music and artist. I’m with you on parking. If I can’t park alone at the top of a parking lot. I Ain’t Parking. I have the bed rail system. I thought it had the divider too. They said, It only comes with The Ram Box Bed. My truck has just hit 27,000. Just got new tires last week. I went with the Continental Cross Contact A/T. Thank you for your videos. Regarding to the Harman Cardin stereo system you need to go into your equalizers and raise your mid range up a little keep your base the same and your treble up a little and then out of there below the equalizer options is another options for surroundsound you need to turn that on because it comes turned off so enable it and I’m telling you it is the hands-down the best stereo system I have heard in a truck period. And I have a Porsche Panamera Turbo S Gran Turismo with the upgraded Burmeister stereo it’s not as good but it’s damn close and you have to remember that I’m comparing it an eight being a 10 in the portion and eight in the ram and that’s a truck got a luxury sports car. I have a newer Range Rover with the updated stereo in it and I’m telling you man it comes very close to these other stereos in these high luxury brand vehicles that you have to pay $5000 plus just to get them that Harman Cardin is 19 speakers 1200 W the standard in the high-end range rover is I think around 19 speakers and 825 W.

I love my 2019 limited- i purchased it last year, ive had my roof/ceiling leak 3-4 times and they fixed it. I have 38,000 miles on it so far, did a magnaflow cat back and cold air intake. love the truck no other issues

Good Video, I had to do the AC valve to fix the AC during the summer,. It gets super hot here in the summer and my 2019 was not keeping up with the heat, my little boys would be sweating. For almost 60 grand, that should be an issue. Other than that, I love these rams, I could go on and on about them.

Just picked up a 2020 RAM Limited, bright white. I'm amazed at the features in it. The leveling will be great for RVing. The auto-steps can be shin-crushers when I only reach into truck, but I'm learning. A light colored non-slip strip on top of the step might be in order soon. Maybe an LED light that activates with step, we'll see. Thanks for the low pressure horn insight. I hate when I pee my pants in public. LOL. BEST RAM review. Do you have auto start/stop? Pros and cons You spoke of bad AC... do you think or feel the rear cabin AC has anything to do with cooling time too? I know darker paint plays part.

I actually don’t have the auto start/stop on this. When I bought it, I didn’t even realize it was missing. But my wife’s vehicle has it and I am not a fan. So I am not upset about not having it. In regards to the AC, I haven’t noticed a difference when the rear AC is on VS when it is off. I also chalked it up to being a black vehicle. But my wife’s black 2020 Explorer gets cold MUCH quicker than this, and it is black as well. Thanks for watching!

@@necstanunn That's a good question! I had my heart set on the 2500, but compromised with the 1500. But let me tell you, I am really pleased with the 1500. I did a 10k pound, 3,000 mile trailer trip with the truck recently and it performed very well. I have absolutely no regrets about going with the 1500. For real heavy loads, I will likely buy an older 1-ton truck that doesn't need to be as reliable or comfortable.

Honestly, a Tundra is one of the few trucks that I have never driven. A friend of mine bought a new Tundra back in 2019 and it was nice. However it didn't seem to have as high of quality interior as this Ram does. Still was a really nice truck though.

The auto braking while backing up pisses me right off. I have to keep the sensors turned off now. Every time I’d back into a spot it would brake even though I was no where close to hitting anything.

50k on a 2019 is nothing. Try 80k+ on a Limited! Had to look everywhere for a crew cab with a ‘6”4 bed. I had over 50k before owning it a year.

I have a 2020 Ram Bighorn w/Ramboxes and argued with dealer forever about the cargo divider. They do not come with the trucks anymore. I was pissed as well and ended up buying my own from mopar,, but my dads 2012 Ram died recently so now i have 2. I was going to put it on ebay to sell, but let me know if you are interested! It makes a big difference

Hey Ron! Like I mentioned in my videos, I've got a LOT of Ram wheel time, but also have spent innumerable hours in Chevy and Ford. In my opinion, there is not a higher quality, smoother riding, quiet truck out there. Not to mention, they look so good! But one thing to note... there is an occasional high-pitched 'hum' depending on my speed and wind (maybe?). It doesn't happen often enough for me to get video of. Just something to consider if a quiet ride is important.

I would absolutely buy it again. The quality is fantastic. I have gotten to watch the evolution of the Ram truck brand over the last decade and I can tell you that the quality is as good as any other make/model.

Not too bad at all. I did a decibel test in the most recent video and its still very quiet. Ram did a good job keeping out road noise with this design.

Hey brother, big fan of RAM, I have a limited with ram box, love me thwm boxes but they LIED to you at that dealership and I suggest that you go back and get your bed divider because it supposed to come with it, what often happens is that the dealership will take smaller accessories and sell them or take them for themselves which is what happen with my truck because in my package I was supposed to get and pay for a bed cover, they tried to tell me that the car did not come with that option anymore and they will give me a rebate… I called they are mother dealership and they rectify the problem almost instantly… Literally finding my part and no one said anything about the other representative spewing his bullshit to me, I have the bed divider and a bed cover… Get your stuff man because they were lying to you.

I saw a video recently where the guy had a tonneau cover and Ramboxes and after driving on dirt roads the bed filled up with a LOT of dirt. Have you noticed this? We camp a lot and I'm wondering if we'd have to seal our clothes and blankets in tubs or something. Also, do your rear seats recline?

Great review as for the tires I think companies are opting for a more fuel efficient tires cause I notice with most new vehicles I work on there needing to be replaced at 30k (for a normal driver)

@@mgirard7161 There fine. There off road tires. There pretty good as far as longevity. I'm assuming your putting them on truck which they will have some road noise (which is normal for the type of tire) and may get choppy (which depends on your suspension)

Bill Blair I have 34408 on my 19 RAM and it is nothing but junk!!! I have had to have the bed taken off and realigned, both front inner fenders have been replaced twice, the door trim on the outside has been replaced twice, the drivers side seat cushion had to be replaced, they left out the rear seat belt latches, It stranded me for 4 hours when it did not recognize the key fob, had to replace the passenger side mirror as it broke internally and both mirrors make a horrible whistle if I drive it in a cross wind. Tomorrow I have to take it to diagnose a knocking coming from under the hood that I think is electrical, I am betting the ABS module. 2019 RAM Bighorn 5.7 Hemi.

I have the same truck 2020 in silver wire multifunction tailgate and ram box. It also came with the bed divider. When I was at the dealership to purchase,they had three limited edition and one Laramie Longhorn all had the divider laying on the rear floor.

Hi, you mentioned you had to bring your truck in to the dealer 4 times for steering issues. Can you give some more details as to what the issues were with the steering and if they replaced parts or what kind of repairs they did. I have a 2019 laramie and had issues with the steering making a loud vibration when turning the truck at low speeds. Was wondering if you were having similar issues. Thanks !

The first few times I took it in, the dealer couldn't figure out what the problem was. Then they finally found out that it was the steering gear. They said it was loose. It would make little popping sounds whenever I would make a turn. It wasn't as much of a vibration. You might have a power steering issue. Good luck and let us know what you find out!
