My fave on the album right now. My fave HoF moments have always been the mid-slow tempo songs. When they put that muscle/energy to size, power and torque vs all out speed...except for Deviloution and Hessian

ABoyd1852 its like the later half of the album shifts, its starts off beastly then slows with a precision blows... i mean The cave, Dark side of the compass, Lethal Chamber(i-tunes f'ed it up), Luminiferous....damn its beast...real METAL HEADS on this page.. hell even SUNLESS YEARS is the most uptempo (another ART OF SELF-DEFENSE track) LCD is good but makes you sweat alot, DRINK WATER!

I love this warrior tribal sludge metal,only wish i had a massive sound system in my SUV, i live in the city and workout this album is so much of a motivation and mood setter. Reminds me of ART OF SELF DEFENSE mixed w/ DEATH IS THIS COMMUNION

I agree, this is the best High on Fire album to date. It's the most complete of all. Matt and the guys caught a very high level of songwriting with this one. Blessed Black Wings was my favorite before.
