Matt is doing really great - he's clean & sober now, even eating vegetarian... he's lost alot of weight too. So happy for him. I would have hated to see him go the way of so many other artists... such a talented guitar player & song writer, High on Fire just keeps getting better and better!

I agree, and i know how tough it must be to get sober when you are in a touring heavy metal band, and High on Fire are always on tour, so it probably makes it tougher. Just stick with the weed, eat healthy and keep riffing, great to see the guy looking and feeling better.

@@PastaRulla YES. Weed is perfectly natural & should be legal everywhere, not some man-made concoction that slowly(or quickly) poisons you. Weed should be regulated just like tobacco & alcohol, as it increasingly is in some places nowadays.

though the album, which was still pretty great, was kinda overproduced and a bit to glossy by HoF standards, that opening riff ranks with the very best of theirs.
