I've never seen anyone feel the need to do a self promotion video like this, or have one done for them. its the best car channel on youtube imo. Car throttle used to be my favorite but since alex left its rubbish. (its like the old top gear minus Clarkeson) plus the videos hardly come out. Alex is going solo but flailing around to try to find a winning formula. Matt on the other hand has worked hard to find a winning formula and is sticking to it. Its so watchable, really well edited and the content is spot on. I love the cheap cars but also the more expensive ones he mixes in. A few months ago he toyed with a cameraman but it felt a bit scripted (even though it probably wasnt) and he rightly binned that idea The work ethic behind high peak autos is remarkable....first theres running a car dealers (so buying and selling). Then theres making the videos before editing them,. However much he makes from social media is well worth it...literally earning every penny through hard graft

I think Hugh peak autos is a great channel & being a Scottish guy in my early 50s I know about buying & selling though I have learned many things from watching his channels especially the. I do not actually mind the English at all and have lived in London south east England’s well as the Peak District, Manchester and Lancashire & Yorkshire so I know the pig headed northern England attitudes etc & come into direct conflict with such individuals and usually win but hats off to him he’s a determined guy ratcheting up momentum & experience & doing well for himself but humble. Enough to share with others running curb side auto repairs or to car showrooms .

One of my favourite KZbin channels. I love watching from South Africa as we have quite a number of similar cars and can relate. The title of this video is somewhat misleading though. Matt's openness and honesty did not lead me to believe that he is hiding anything or had any dodgy secrets. I think I was one of the earlier followers - he only had about 20k followers when I came accross his videos. I have always admired the panache & humour which Matt injects into his presentations - personally, certainly think that this country has missed out on a very talented actor, howler, it has gained by having such knowledgeable and informative content which provides the rest of us with a lot of information about cars and the business of trading second hand vehicles. Most of all, he has made it clear that dealers are not con men, and most of them work hard for a living.
