Very informative. Thanks for making the video. I have the same exact car, haven't taken it to the HPDE event yet, maybe one of these days.

You've got roughly a year from purchase to take advantage of the complimentary pricing. It might be worth it to wait until spring and warmer/drier weather depending on where you're at, but I would definitely take advantage of it. You'll gain an impressive amount knowledge and confidence in the car's abilities (and yours).

This was great! Thats for sharing. So was this the intro course? Do you pick which HPDE course to take?
@All_In_DrivingКүн бұрын
There is no intro at the track near me - if that's your case too then you should choose HPDE1. After that, it depends on the track how to move forward. Some have 2-4, and others offer a way to start lapping.

When you do slalom, you need to accelerate with straight wheels, decelerate while you pass the cone, turn the wheels, and then accelerate on straight wheels again after you pass the cone. That's the idea of slalom. otherwise, you will slide away wider and wider. Slalom is not autocross and it is much more fun in a small RWD car. Here is a video of a proper event for 200hp cars kzbin.info/www/bejne/q5LcdIyhotWhqcU

That makes total sense, thanks for the tips! I'd love to set up some cones and do a proper slalom like in the video you shared to build up my skills.
