The back & forth between the 2 vehicles on the corrugations..... Beautifully done Andrew 👍

just a suggestion Andrew i know we've all gone on about this but can i suggest you name this channel 4xoverland - Workshop and the other channel 4xoverland - Adventure, it just makes more sense with what your doing and the brand recognition follows through, Cheers (patron 5+yrs and fellow Perthite)

Ooohhhhhh I love this. One question: What happens when one shock has an electrical issue and help isn't just around the corner? Does the system default to one setting? Does the one shock get stuck in a position? Does the entire system fault. Can you manually adjust the shocks into position and then seek out new parts? Thanks.

I couldn't agree more with your assessment. The way we use our off-road vehicles is quite dynamic, therefore it makes sense to have an active on the fly system to turn the normally mechanically reactive system into fully adjustable for the various conditions seen. I give it 10 years that every relevant shock manufacturer will have similar in cab adjustable setups, and the manufacturers that don't will be selling antiques.

There's a certain brutality that tracks impart on vehicles. The 1/4 speed videos maybe didn't show that full brutality - it might have been better to show it at double speed. After every Baja tour that I used to guide I rebuilt my shocks, but your new Superior shocks are an impressive upgrade - thanks for sharing your feeling on them!

Ome bp51 are over rated and over priced. Glad there is something on the market to challenge them
@jackbarnes69292 сағат бұрын
They are overpriced because built into the price is 1-2 warranty replacements.
@SethjxlСағат бұрын
I think the BP51 came out to challenge to superior remote res. They fell short. Superior brought out the remote servo control last year and it's brilliant. This is one of those cases where younpay for what you get, and it's well worth the price.

@@jackbarnes6929 yeah all good and well but they were a major let down, got them for the Y62 and ended up taking the car back and forth few times to arb and in the end 6 months late they just couldn't do what they promised or fix it so they refunded the money and went with another brand with much much better result.

@johnflynn5567 сағат бұрын
Doesn't adding electronically suspension add complexity and go against the ethos of not being "exotic". What mode do they go in if one of the shocks electrically fail? Is the ability to adjust on the fly worth the extra complexity?
@veneratedmortal43695 сағат бұрын
I guess that would depend on whether they fall back to a default setting if the electronics fail?
Thank you for the video mate. Looks like an incredible product. Quick one. What is the plan B is the ajustable / electrics have issues in the middle of the bush? Will the shocks remain in the previous setting?

on the fly in-cab adjustment is where it is now. Jmacx alphas are also a great option. Bp51 are basically now obsolete, it is old tech. Once they catch up I bet although more expensive, it will definitely be a better product than Superior. By the way Bp51 can also be rebuilt. Like you I liked mine but there is definitely more advanced options on the market now. Once they die i wont service them again, I will move on with tech.

The live valve is for sure the next level !! But Superior shocks is definitely not superior !! They are basically the same as Profender made in Thailand. Having wasted money with most brand. In my opinion King Shocks are at the top followed by Fox, BILSTEIN. Next tier would be Dobinsions and Terrain Tamer. They all need to be physically custom valved with a shock dyno. If you can order them with high and low speed compression adjustments awesome and the live valve is the crème on top.
