how does it work when the trail is on private property? Do the land owners have to give access or can they take it away?

Landowners give permission for it to be on their property.

Your off on your math it's 58 divided by 193. Your at 30%

You might want to check your math again, Cliff. You needed to add the 2 mileages together which is 193 total miles. Then divide 58 by 193. You are a little over 30% done with the trail. Easy mistake to make when you are surrounded by beautiful views.
