High Powered Lawyer Stops Cop From Harassing Innocent Black Man

Omar Johnson is driving through Mango Park when he is pulled over by a policeman. The officer accuses Omar of committing all kinds of infractions, including possession of narcotics, and demands to search his vehicle. Omar proclaims his innocence, yet the cop is determined to enforce his power. As the altercation intensifies, a lawyer who coincidentally is walking towards her vehicle hears their discussion. She interrupts and offers some free legal advice to Mr. Johnson, allowing him to elude persecution from this overzealous young officer.

Based on the many ongoing cases of police brutality and shootings, it's more likely that the cop would have called for backup and proceeded to arrest, tase, and beat the victim over a minor incident or as in this case, nothing at all. I have seen the actress who played the lawyer in the video play a Karen police officer.. In one video she's with her teenage Daughter who gets a speeding ticket.. She tries to talk her mother out of the ticket.. And then she actually tries to get the cop out of writing her Daughter a ticket.. Only to take the ticket and give it to her Daughter herself.. Good video but as a huge fan of Drop Dead Diva I was expecting a little bit more legal arguments like reasonable suspicion what he was being accused of him violating his fourth amendment rights by attempting to search his vehicle without his consent and yes police officers have dash cams and even though the officer gave up and left they have to file a lawsuit or at least a complaint if they are going to get him to stop for good
