There are lot of flaws in this video, 1. When u receive the premium while selling it will come to ur account but u added to the margin, which doesn't make sense 2. If sl is not hit in both the legs then profit in 2nd case is 100 but 1st case u will get 100 oly if it completes exactly where u took straddlr

I had back tested this some times back and found that it gives good profit for STBT. Sell banknifty call and put 300 points away from ATM at 3.15 PM and exit at 9.20 AM next day.

Wouldn't breakevens be wider in tight short gut/inverted strangle than in short straddle? Am I missing something here?

Thanks for the explanation sir. We do this tight short gut/ inverted short strangle intraday on expiry day when we find predictors that nifty can end range bound and we trade the short gut in that range. Your views sir on which days does it work?

This short gut for intraday. Should keep stop-loss. Short gut will workout for broad range. No need to keep stop-loss. For that he kept another video pl. Watch as reversal strangle. Premiums will be around 1000
