What I like having characters do is have an illusion running as and when they need it, that make it seem as if they have a few hundred daggers. It makes getting through guards who want you to give them all your weapons VERY easy.

Jan Alltaer probably but Tom has the best chance against her. Ranged attack focused so flying elementals aren't a problem, over 50 average damage per round using sharp shooter and hunters mark compared to an elemtals 28, high to hit bonus, can gain 17 ac with proper armor upgrade, high con with lots of hitpoints. The only reason he could lose is because Ellora can attack then burn spells to heal herself with a bonus action.

Earth Elementals are also vulnerable to thunder which coincidentally Reynard has.

Elora has so much hp though. Reynard would not only have to kill a elemental but elora as well. Reason shes op is it's like fighting a new enemy after having defeated the last one. Not to mention she could probobly do something to disable him. or just.. fire her orbital lase-. i mean moon beam at a higher level at him.

She's way to spread out and unfocused, if they could stay far enough away- she's dead. The one thing that they keep forgetting is that the elemental shape ability costs two uses of wild shape ability not one, so she's not as op as she seems. She doesn't really have any melee capability outside of her wild shapes, if she casts sheleighly he uses her wisdom not her uselessly high-strength. And all of the Spells she uses with the exception of blight and heat metal require her to waste her own actions during the course of a round to accomplish anything

That's not true, any good DM knows that they are the god but also realises that they are a benevolent god and need to act reasonably to the players.

Good DMs know that sometimes it's good to let your players play, especially when they come up with neat ideas or have something they want to try. Bad DMs force the player to do everything exactly as they want no ifs, buts, or whatevers. The whole idea behind playing a game is to enjoy it and if you forget a rule or mess up an attack or find your way around something the DM set up that's not a big deal.

Has anyone noticed that Mark keeps giving them magic items with extra damage of a certain type then immediately throwing monsters that are all immune to that damage type? Cam and Jiutou have extra poison damage, all you will fight for the next ten episodes is yuan ti and undead both poison immune. Reynard deals thunder damage, have some cloud constructs that are immune. Jiutou gets a weapon that deals radiant damage, enter the city where all radiant damage is halved.

With Reynard; I don't like this action to reload after 5 shots thing. He loses 3 attacks. That's only one more attack per 4 turns than if it was a normal crossbow without the crossbow expert feat. Action economy is severely hampered. Should just take an attack.

For anyone interested the repeating crossbow Wikipedia link. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Repeating_crossbow It was gravity fed with open top magazine and lever action. I imagine that Reynard's crossbow is more enchanted to cock the string itself with no major mechanical action. Rather than some weird crossbow revolver.

Crazy idea: maybe for the end of the Lightfall campaign when they fight Fellania they should have Jiutou, Elora, Cam, Reynard and Trell, plus a rotating guest spot. In this spot they pre-film all the special guests (Falk - Martyn, Caff - Loben [it would be interesting if he fully defected to the Broken Sky], Kat - Jasmina, Kitbuss - Mistle/Colt, Elyssa - Viathan) that have ever come on to do their share of damage + some roleplay. It might be extra messy and extra work on Sam/Steve/Becky's part..but it could be cool!

Vampire Spawn, not Vampires. (Spawn are what mortals get turned into when bitten, they cannot turn other mortals though.) Edit: looked at the full stats for Vamp and Spawn. It's actually really difficult to be turned (i.e. more than a simple bite), but only pure blood vamps can do it.

Kim is definitely one of those players I would have stay down and called out during a session, She players her character well but every so often she's a bit of a dick, backtracks on Jiutou's character development due to that and has meta gamed in the past. I understand Mark can't really do that in these sessions since they're live streaming and that would be unfair on Kim. The other players are probably having fun anyway, so it doesn't matter as much, still nags at me abit. Saying this, I have a player who can be annoying as heck but afterwards we're all laughing about the game, he once played a deaf bard who ended up betraying us all and killing us. It was a great game and hilarious. As much as Kim annoys me, I love the way she plays after I watch, she metas a bit too much but I'm sure that will change.
