The problem in Islamic schools in the western countries comes from families that don't give their children any Deen tarbiyah 😢. They are not practicing Muslims but they expect the Islamic school to culture their children. Children whom are exposed to fitna in their upbringing, unfortunately pass it onto other students in school. Problematic students whom have been exposed to unmoral behavior in public schools cause a humongous disturbance when they enroll in an Islamic school. One rotten apple will affect all the good apples. I volunteered for 10 years, witnessed it with my own eyes. Parents please do your job, connect with your child from day one! No one is going to raise your child for you. Never ever allow sleepovers and always attend functions with them. Remind them that they go to school to get an education and to keep socialization professional. Become your child's friend and keep them occupied, but please don't let down your guard. If possible always drop and pick your children from schools yourselves. May Allah swt make it easy for all of us.

Assalam Aleykum. Peace be upon you. You are absolutely right! My children do not attend an Islamic public school, but they go to Sunday school at our local mosque. I once volunteered at another Islamic Sunday school and noticed the same thing. It feels like some parents treat it as a recreational party, dropping off their kids so they can run errands. Some parents, especially women, don't show respect for the mosque as they are poorly and inappropriately dressed when dropping off their kids. We always have to remind them to dress their little girls more appropriately. It's disheartening to see parents disengage from their role. May Allah help us understand that we send our kids to these Islamic schools to nurture the good values we instill in them at home, as nurturing should start from the home. May Allah assist us parents in doing our best for our kids. Ameen Ya Rab

Agree completely. The difference is very apparent which children receive Deeni tarbiyah at home and which ones do not. It cannot be stressed enough how crucial it is for all parents of children at every age and stage to immerse themselves in learning and practicing Deen themselves first.

Sadly many parents can't be bothered with connecting with their children. We commonly hear 'kids these days!', I can honestly say 'parents these days!!!'. Parents don't engage with their kids, they cant be bothered raising them properly and give them full access to social media from a very young age.
@masterblaster4784

Parents didn't engage with their kids in prior eras either. The difference is that nowadays the parents and kids are exposed to the most extreme filth imaginable. That's not to say such stuff didnt happen in previous eras but it was not recorded and put out for the world to see. The minds of children and parents are polluted nowadays. It's very hard to overcome this. The only way is a complete ban on the internet. Even in Muslim countries, both the parents and children are exposed to the filth

To the father that said it's not your fault you went through this and you are not alone. I was a daughter who had been groomed and sexually assaulted by so called male relatives. I was between ages 9-12 or 13. Well I was a target all the way up to 19. When I was a child I knew I didn't like what was happening and I told Anties. They accused me of trying to get their sons killed and denied they would ever do such a thing. my point is you can't even imagine how that hit my heart that a Muslim father would understand who is the victim and who is the abuser in that situation. Especially for a father figure to comfort their daughter will make all the difference in the world as to how well the female heals. from the victim's perspective my brothers and father's in Islam, DO NOT tell your daughters they were being of lose character or whatever if they got raped or sexualyl abused. First of all it's wrong. Even if they chose to be with the person but didn't expect to ahve sexual relations and told them to stop then it was rape. You need to educate yourselves on how to handle such a situation. Because if you aren't there for them they will never trust people again. And some girls end up promiscuous because of that experience. You have no idea what it's like to not be believed. Especially being an abandoned child. I went through self abuse like cutting myself and beating head on wall and biting myself and bed wetting. My anxiety and PTSD was so bad I still don't trust anyone and now take medication for it. It affected my health very much so. Problem is, I didn't know I was suffering from CPTSD and extreme anxiety. You are expected to be this good little girl do as you are told while no one ever comforts you for your suffering. Then they wonder why you end up an angry cynical person. I have healed a lot but most of it was connection with Allah which no one else helped me with it was Allah's mercy on me. I sued to talk to Allah in my head and even yell at him when I was a child. Then I studied psychology and learned about human behavior and that really helped. My point is, especially Muslim girls will probably not even tell you what they been through out of shame. And because they will be accused which happens in most cases. Also they are aware if a potential marriage partner found out they aren't virgins who's gonna marry them? A lot kill themselves to prevent having to tell anyone. SO talk to your daughters and make sure you are aware of all the family interactions. I don't care if it's a trusted praying uncle and no matter how sweet they seem. Some know how to groom a child into sexual pleasures. The kid doesn't know what's going on and what's right and wrong. So watch your daughter's behavior especially. I don't mean control them I saying if their behavior changes drastically find out why. Like say they suddenly hate every man that is around or if they have more bruises then normal. Or if they stay away from people more then usual. Sometimes them becoming sexually active might not be because of their friends or society. They could have been abused. Sometimes girls use their sexuality as a way of getting the control back they lost over their bodies and they don't realize what they are doing. So yes, communicating with your kids at a young age as to what is appropriate and what isn't and keeping eye on behavior changes is very important.

This isn't a recent thing, in my high-school in Pakistan it was a co-ed school and I saw girls coming in with burkas going to the washroom and taking them off then going on dates with the popular guys, I saw the same when it came to events and they would be dancing with boys getting touched inappropriately while they sprinkled water everywhere. It got so bad that even as a guy I stopped going to events in the school and I would limit my interactions and leave as soon as school was over. Often times when kids try to tell their parents they get ignored and often times they haven't even been taught what Islam is. Co-ed schools should not exist in Islamic countries.

This is the biggest struggle for muslims in the west honestly 😢 i gave up my career to stay home with our 3 boys and 4th boy on the way in August inshallah. We removed our little boys from public school in 2019 and moved to Western rural Victoria to put them one of the best islamic schools Victoria has to offer..we teach our boys at home what being muslim requires, our character, behaviour, speech and manners etc yet they are children who come from very unislamic homes subhanallah, parents expect school to discipline their kids sadly😩 thank God the school is very strict and they expel certain bad behaviours, so far no vaping etc.. i have heard many islamic schools having issues with vaping unfortunately. May Allah protect our kids , we fighting shaitan himself.. we must educate our kids at home and instil the islamic values at home. One of the reason we never bought house or invested in Australia was to flee with our kids back home to our country if things get worse here. We dont wana be tied down here..more parents should take their kids back home to instil islamic identity and culture. Also I wish more mothers stayed home but sadly thats not possible for many households in the west😢..im grateful my boys can talk to me about anything n i listen n advice them when needed. They are 10, 7 n 5 and they ask us about the rainbow community n we teach them about the people of prophet Lut (pbuh) and their punishment from Allah n as muslims we should never repeat their practises..subhanallah children's innocence is being taken away by this evil society we live in..when they see 2 women holding hands in shops they say astaqfurallah n look away😂 we dont judge or stare others we make duaa that Allah guides them..plz spend time with your kids. 😢

OMG, theres a lot of fitnah. Especially for Muslim boys that are in public school especially Middle school or high school its very hard for them to lower there Gaze WALLAHI it is! When I'm in my school and my school is a very very good school and I like my school but the everywhere I look in my school there half naked people walking. Look up they are there, look down and you will see there half naked legs, look to the right side you see them, look left and you see them and if you look at high up you will see there hair and all there makeup on there face so it's basically impossible to lower your gaze and as Muslims boys, Boys have a bigger tempt of temptation then girls that's why girls are asked to cover but boys are asked to lower there gaze. Girls don't like to look at stuff as much instead they like it when they look beautiful and boys LIKE what they look at and they love it so much but they don't care as much if people are looking at them and how they look and that's why Girls have to cover themselves completely and boys have to completely lower there gaze. Muslim boys in High School want to get married but they can't because it's not the appropriate time to get married and there still studying. But because of the Fitnah and the tempt for your desires and your haram temptations is the reason why they want to do haram. Wallahi it's the hardest thing to fight over your haram temptations. If you can like I will appreciate it because it took me a while to write this but not that long where it took too long.

I see this happening every day coming from work, high school students from public schools will board simultaneously. most of them are of Muslim background. They use slurs, and foul language, curse each other, and also use the word Wallahi. How is that possible, they talk openly about having relationships with two/three persons simultaneously. They will talk about how they were during Ramadan and will back to regular life after Ramadan. I wonder what are their relationships with their parents. May Allah guide them, protect them, and show them the right path.

I agree but you still have to connect with your children…. People say to just move to a Muslim country and everything will be fixed, in fact there is still lots of haram in Muslim countries, it’s all about connecting and being around the right people. I’m in Canada but I chose the good Muslim friends who prevent each other from going astray. I can easily see myself going in the wrong direction being around the bad friends which I had a couple years back, so I got to experience both ends of the spectrum but alhamdullilah I truly see the impact of having the right friend and May Allah swt help us all

In my opinion, as someone who has experienced some awful things in the name of Islam in the name of honor and protecting the image of the family. Parents forget that they give birth to a human that they are responsible for, not other people's view of their family. Kids don’t want to grow up in a family that doesn’t pay attention to them and care more about what others think. Your family is strong when you create an open home environment and trust yourself and your children. But you lose that child's trust when you care more about your image. We need to stop saying “haram” to everything instead of explaining and teaching. We care more about who's kid is doing what and pushing your kids right into the hands of those who are willing to allow open conversations. Instead of using Islam as a weapon, why can’t we use Islam for its teaching of understanding, communication, and openness? When you live in a country that’s not your own, you’re not only struggling with the Western culture and having to fit in but also dealing with your home culture and community culture, which is so unwelcoming. Please go to therapy. Please learn Islam and how beautiful, understanding, and welcoming it is.. that’s what I’m teaching our youth. Unfortunately, when I brought this conversation up to the community leaders, they all told me I was trying to change the generation. They told me my idea was stupid, but I’m glad to see this video. I know this is hard, but this is the start. May Allah guide us 📿🤲

As a teacher I can honestly say most parent if they are strategic can offer their kids much more than the average school can.I would say all their learning can be focused on a handful of subject and the rest they can learn through travel and new experiences, sport, hobbies, documentaries etc.I am pro homeschooling although I’ve worked in public education for a long time and pray God facilitates it for me and every one else.I know my areas of weakness in terms of subjects that are worth getting tuition for and that can be virtual and subjects you can tackle.Make dua for facilitation.Remember you kids don’t only mix with other children they mix with the adults those kids mix with indirectly and also everything all those kids are exposed to outside school and a lot of parents allow their kids to do anything and everything.

@@Naved1231 It really depends on what you want for them long term do you want them to have formal qualification like GCSE's and A levels if so then following the national curriculum is best but since they are homeschooled i think many people opt for IGCSE's as these are 100% exam based and don't require feildwork, coursework or practical componenents like GCSE's(meaning some GCSE's cant be taken privately for homebased students).Even when choosing the national curriculum and standards tests route you dont need to deliver this like schools do e.g you can start them on GCSE content early and hone in on the specific subjects they will do for their GCSE's much earlier instead as options and content for these start in year 9 or 10.Also rememeber alot of A levels and Universities ask for 5 GCSE's at a high grade but most schools make students take 9 or 10.But again you dont have to do it that way and you can essentially follow any curriculum or your own or none. It's important to think about what you want for them and what they are good at and how best to get whatever goal you have. For example if you want them to be

Don't be shocked. look at it like same actions same outcomes. If you are atheist all fall off a ladder you going get injured. Same with Jew, Christian, or Muslim experiencing the accident. The Qur'an warns us about how situations of fitna can also negatively impacting the non-Muslim can also effect us! Sarah 8:25 Beware of a trial that will not only affect the wrongdoers among you. And know that Allah is severe in punishment. Here is an excerpt of Ibn Kathir tafsir: Warning against an encompassing Fitnah Allah warns His believing servants of a Fitnah, trial and test, that encompasses the wicked and those around them. Therefore, such Fitnah will not be restricted to the sinners and evildoers. Rather, it will reach the others if the sins are not stopped and prevented. Imam Ahmad recorded that Mutarrif said, "We asked Az-Zubayr, `O Abu `Abdullah! What brought you here (for the battle of Al-Jamal) You abandoned the Khalifah who was assassinated (`Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him) and then came asking for revenge for his blood' He said, `We recited at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Abu Bakr, `Umar and `Uthman, وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً لاَّ تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً (And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong,) We did not think that this Ayah was about us too, until it reached us as it did."' `Ali bin Abi Talhah reported that Ibn `Abbas said that the Ayah, وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً لاَّ تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً (And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong,) refers to the Companions of the Prophet in particular. In another narration from Ibn `Abbas, he said, "Allah commanded the believers to stop evil from flourishing among them, so that Allah does not encompass them all in the torment (Fitnah). " This, indeed, is a very good explanation, prompting Mujahid to comment about Allah's statement, وَاتَّقُواْ فِتْنَةً لاَّ تُصِيبَنَّ الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ مِنكُمْ خَآصَّةً (And fear the Fitnah (affliction and trial) which affects not in particular (only) those of you who do wrong,) "Is for you too!" The fitnah in the public highschools are the same in Islamic schools. Because the parents don't properly teach Islamic manners and deen to their kids and expect the schools to do it. Then what is the difference between public and Islamic schools? The difference is a few times a week you have Islamic studies or quran class. It goes in one ear out the other for these kids, and the teachers cant do anything to help because how can they motivate kids whose parents tell them "Islam is in the heart, its okay if we don't pray 5 times a day. Its okay if we only go to the masjid in ramadan, its okay if we go to big weddings and wear heavy makeup. Its okay if we don't wear hijaab and wear tight clothes" I went to Islamic school for a few years myself and saw it firsthand how a kid from public school would transfer and then the whole class and their friendgroup would change and become the same as the non Muslims they left in the public schools. The Muslim kids in Islamic school were worse than the public school kids, and even in public school the Muslim kids were the most shocking ones. The hafiz would be some of the worst, the ringleaders and so much fitnah you were shocked. The parents had no idea and thought their kid with thobe and hat on his head was an angel! Parents - please connect with your child and learn from them how kids think and behave because by telling them everything is haraam and only telling them about sins but not the beauty and obligations of Islam and without you acting as the role model Muslim you want them to be, they become fascinated with haraam and act out worse than the non Muslims. Then when they turn 18 and start having haraam relationships, not praying, avoiding their parents don't be upset that they have lost their way.

I hate the fact that so many families are so broken because of how far away people are from their so-called faith and beliefs. When two adults, who apparently ‘love’ their children, can’t even let each other be apart of the child’s life is absolutely sickening and is an oppression that WILL need to be answered too by The Best of Judges and who is the All Hearing and All Seeing! They say they fear and believe in Allah but their actions don’t show it at all whatsoever!! It all starts at home! They actually parents are the first source of education for the kids!!! We all most be close and understanding towards them, BOTH parents! I’m unable to even carry on with this actually, I can’t even bring it out of me. Children deserve better and they are will a witness to everything! Allah, you are the sole protector and guardian of us and our children, please please protect them from all the evils in both worlds and pardon us all… 🥺💔📿🤲🏼

Because of this gap in the media during such a tender age of development and identity where kids are often insecure or peer-pressured into situations by those around them. They need content of their own to look up to rather than the western ideals that are super harmful to them. Protecting kids is hard, especially in the digital age where there are so many traps on and offline. May Allah make it easy for the parents and the children to keep on the straight path, ameen. I do want to re-state that Islamic content for teens is super important and a huge gap. If anyone has any resources please link them in the comments inshaAllah. I'm working on making games and shows for teens inshaAllah and also compiling a list of already available content and would much appreciate any sort of reference and guidance. Jzk

If you can please escape from the westerns with your teens I moved to Malaysia with my children from America and one year later all I can say is Alhamdulilah Alhamdulilah. It’s not easy to relocate we sold our home I sold my car I left my job my friends people I knew 20 plus years n I left my husband behind to provide for us n moved to Malaysia with my children the only regret we have is why we we didn’t do this earlier. Material come n go but nothing will replace your children. If you have the opportunity leave the western countries TODAY. Trust ALAH in the process it will be easy pray 🙏 😢😢

My niece is 14yo. She told me that her classmate identifies herself as her dog. She even brings a dog bowl to school so she can eat from that. And the school supports her for that. The schools here are so scared of being hated by certain people that they are willing to change. Some even forced other kids to follow this ridiculous thing to "show support". Its absurd

Parents and children should be able to communicate easily. Trust me, you would never know what your child is up to unless they want to be open to you, or worse something bad already happen and you heard it by accident

I would also like to hear from the boys, not just the girl confessions. Some girls in private islamic schools are just as bad in other ways towards the good boys.

Dear parents, I would kindly ask you to make du’a every single day for your children. The du’a of parents will be that invisible shield that will protect them. Ask Allah to keep them rightly guided, to live their lives with piety. Ask Allah to protect them from committing faahisha and every other haram in this dunya, especially during their most vulnerable years of growing up. Ask Allah to make our children the coolness of our eyes. Remember this, when they become adults, they will attain maturity and become sensible, just as we did. And Allah will not turn down the sincere du’a of a parent. Have the strongest faith in Allah never ever lose hope even if our children appear to be misguided right now. And never turn away from your children just because they are not listening to you. They need our support and presence in their lives. May Allah guide our children through us, and make ease the challenges of parenting, ameen

Some parents sent their kids to islamic school eventhough they are aware that thier kids have issues. The kids are sent to these schools to pass the problems down to the teachers.

Why aren’t we forming our own grade schools and high schools? We could keep this away from our children? I’m upset and I don’t even HAVE any children

It is not going to solve the problem. It is the lack of parents engagement with their kids and discussion with them. Parents are no more role model for their kids. Therefore they get feed from people outside their home and family. If parents remains engage with kids and have proactive approach and pre emptively discuss issues related to teenagers then these problems can be managed to a certain extant and in the end we ask Allah (swt) to keep our kids on Islam and Guidance. If despite all of sincere efforts, something bad happens to one of many kids then it is the Qadr of Allah (swt).

It’s incredible that the men in the video are upset because they can empathize that it could happen to their daughters or sisters. Sadly men don’t realize this until they have their own daughters and sisters, and sometimes not even then. Allah says what you do to others comes back to you. This is for all those “Muslim” men who take advantage of women. It’ll come back to you.

What do you mean fight this? If fitna is spreading then it it your job to accommodate your child’s environment. You can’t force them to endure all of this when you have an option to do Virtual school 🏫 it’s your job to protect your children and their Iman not to throw them in a place filled with fitna and allow them to go through hell 😒😟
