Never thought I'd see a high school club like this. Not in Jersey, anyway lol While not for me, I'm glad the students found something to bond over. I know insect eating is a more popular thing in parts of Asia.

By all current measures and knowledge, insects do not feel pain. When they are frozen, their bodies just slow to the point where everything stops. Cows definitely do feel pain, consume vast amounts of resources, and contain large amounts of saturated fat, which is not healthy.

@@markeastburn733 we don’t know that and when a cicada is caught by a bird (or anything) they release a panic cry which shows awareness that and it would not be sustainable for the human race to eat them. Human race is designed to be omnivorous.

They are not food created for humans. Feed them to what eat them naturally in creation already. - The foods God created for human life we have plenty of, it’s due to greed that people don’t have all of what they need, not due to an overpopulated earth. - God said to “fill the earth” and that he stretches it out like a tent, it’s mankind who can’t get it right... as we were also pre-warned about already. *Locust is the only insect which is considered kosher.
