Katie, I've got to add more about you fiddle playing. To begin with, it's so smooth. Your bow runs slow and mostly straight as on a guide track; and you reverse the bow direction so nicely right on the measure. You do excellent lead-ins to chord changes, preparing us for the next phrase. Not only that, you multi-task very easy, playing and singing effortless. And when Ellen is singing it makes a very pleasing accompaniment for her voice. Every time I watch this I find more that impresses me.

I just love this performance! Ellen has several breaks in her voice that make it especially moving. One of her best. The harmony was so very well done. The guys, as usual, were rock solid ... so talented. Please stay together you are so great. It's amazing to me that you can perform so many genres of music so well. I've simply never seen such a diverse, talented, group of musicians. I know its said too often, but you could sing the phone book and I'd be listening and enjoying it! I was in a bluegrass band in high school - that was in the ‘70s. I played the double bass, or bass guitar as the gig required. We had one male vocal, and we were in as much demand as the local area and times could create. Oh we sure wanted to find a couple of female vocals - we wanted to keep a clean image, and never could put it together. Thanks for bring me the fond memories. God bless.
