Seriously thank you so much watching your videos I've been cutting my own hair at the sides and back by myself every week after the barber has cut my hair. I've saved so much money in between hair cuts doing the fade and keeping neat the back and sides which for me grow crazy fast. Your videos are no nonsense straight to the point and make everything really clear. Thanks again my friend you are a star teacher.

I’ve been trying to cut my hair for years, I’ve watched KZbin and NOBODY in the videos I’ve seen, have explained it as simply but effectively as you did man.. I can’t even explain it, it’s like they were showing us and didn’t really tell us the steps in between.. you explained you only opened the guard half way on the very first like we created, others explaining fades left a lot out.. thank you man!!!!! You made me confident enough to do this.. I’m all for keeping people in business but I’m MORE of a fan of being self sufficient.

Barbers don't hate this dude, we don't think this is a bad thing. This guy is awesome! Barbers who hate him do so because they are shitty barbers. People can cut their own hair and do it well, (my wife cut my hair for years before I went to Barber school) and I gave Zoom tutorials to my clients , their wives and families to help out (for free) during these lock downs. If a standard hair cut was the only reason to go to the barbershop we'd all be outta work. The shop is so much more than a hair cut. So much more...Also It's about getting it right every time and having a professional handy and able to pull it off when ya want something different. Please continue to show people this !!! To those who do it well... Great Job! Your family needs this now. To those who 'eff-it-up' ... Don't worry I know a Barber who can fix it! Its just hair....

@Valeri Marinov yup same thing happen To me. Honestly I think the only right way to do touch up from 2-4 is clipper over comb. I've started to cut my own hair and to do clipper over comb on yourself is really difficult. Best to have someone else do it. Unless you got shorter on the top.
@ssgunner32224 жыл бұрын
Make sure to use the corner of the blade. The process is good but found a better process that works for me and started cutting others hair. 1)make your initial line (starting lowest point up) 2)next guide line open taper, then begin closing -use corner of blade 3)half gaurd make next guide line open taper and then close it. Remember you can go a step back to remove line. 4)#1 guard open and make next guid line and begin closing. 5)can use 1 1/2 or #2 for clean up up top. Always begin with open taper and eventually close it completely. Good luck. Works for me. Started doing bald fades

hi dude i use my clippers on other people and on my self and have recently noticed where i use them i get small red spots afterwards and they don't clear up. Any ideas if it could be the clippers? thanks.
@TipsforClips6 жыл бұрын
jack smith, that’s not a good sign. It could be one of two things: 1) either the clippers are too sharp and you’re cutting your clients. The solution would be to press more gently parallel to their skin without digging into their scalps. 2) or is could be that your clippers are causing some kind of rash, fungus, or skin infection. In this case, you would need to disinfect the clippers very well. Also make sure that the bottom blade doesn’t pass the top blade. That would cut your client since it would be very sharp. My video on zero gapping clippers would help with that. Hope this helps!
