You are scoring the multipliers incorrectly. According to the rules they each multiply your score by 2. So if you have two x2's your final score will be x4, and if you have all three it is x8

At 6:33 you said if you have the second double card it’s times 3, this is incorrect, it is times 4 and if you have all three cards it is times 8. It’s in the rulebook.

Zee says that High Sociery is a nice game, He then says "in this printing, it's excellent" at the end. So that means It' s an excellent version of a nice game.

It is usually compared to for sales. For sales is for happy people. High society is more stressful. Both are very fun. I like high society more.

Perhaps Raa comes close to it. Where you also don´t know for how long the bidding will last. Looking forward to playing this game.

"For Sale" and "No Thanks" are games that scratch the same itch I'd say. You might also like the games in Knizia's auction trilogy: Modern Art, Ra and Medici. They are a bit more complicated though.

I like the new Art Deco design. It looks brighter than the Eagle Gryphon version I have now and which has thick card stock for the items bid upon. The money cards look ok but not attractive enough for my tastes. Perhaps it looks better than what I can see in the video.

It's highly influenced by the artist Alphonse Mucha in the Art Nouveau style. It's not Art Deco here; Art Deco has straighter lines and compositions, this art is curly, floral and wild, like most Art Nouveau paintings and architecture. Stunning artwork though, I'm in love with it!

How do you bid for the 1/2 points card? Is it the same as the 'lose a card' bid?

Yes, there are 3 disgrace cards, lose a card, 1/2 points and -5 points that you have to take if you pass (get any money back you have bid up to that point if any and everyone else losses their bid).
