I always use 35 ~45 ton mechs like panther, artic wolf and pheonix hawk. These 20 ton mechs are too scary for me to hunt them down unless I have some pulses on an arm or srms with good convergence. Hunting them with ATMs was viable before the artemis change.

This reminds me of a build I created in Robocraft. I took a minimalist speed freak approach to the design and managed to come up with a point-capture focused build. And then there was a match-making glitch that happened for a while and I started getting matched against maxed out behemoths. I managed to harass one of those behemoths to death, twice.

Just out of curiosity, how come you don't lock your arms so that you can get your weapons to pin-point the same part when you do builds like these?

It's muscle memory. The mouse motion is different when arm lock is active. I wouldn't hit anything if I put it on.

I play the Flea 17 with seven Sml pulse Lasers. no masc but maxed engine, and single Heat sinks

Although, I've managed a lucky shot on a flea once with the Fafnir dual heavy gauss, and he was at full health, running circles around our stalker (even a brick could do that to a stalker). It is a good match, but I have to say the gameplay balance is getting worse and worse, more and more 20 ton or 30 ton mech can do 700+ damage in match easily, and all other do 200-500 roughly on average. That's just wrong in gameplay balance. Just look at the score after matches, and you will see many light mech are doing so much more damage than heavier mechs. now.

Some of that damage is artificial to the way damage is awarded. You get credit for all the hitpoints left on arms when you take out a side torso. He's able to get in there and secure component destruction, it really amplifies the awards.

You are 1:Robot or 2:Aimbot. the way how your crosshair sticking to enemy every time with 100% accuracy is so hard to belive especially in that fast mech in that fast situations. One vid your mouse stopped working as you said, but crosshair was moving mouse did work its just like aimbot didnt stick to mech automatically. Im not taking your skill of you are great player but comparing to TTB you are robot. If you can explain how it works i will officialy apologize.
