High-Speed Accord lift/elevator @ Hampstead Underground station

Hampstead is on a steep hill and the station platforms are the deepest on the London Underground network, at 58.5 meters below ground level. It has the deepest lift shaft on the Underground at 55 meters which houses high-speed lifts. They were previously Otis lifts, but were modernised by Wadsworth lifts, & again in 2014 by small generic lift installer Accord. There is also a spiral emergency staircase of over 320 steps (from Wikipedia).

A few years ago I purposely went to this station just to climb the staircase as I wanted to say I'd climbed the stairs at the deepest station on the network.

There's actually a little door on the side, so that if the lift breaks down mid way down the shaft, they could send the other lift to the same level, and people could then walk across to the other one
