Awesome video - appreciate the time & effort you put into making this. I have the exact same boat.- bought it new last year from Costco.ca. I'm looking for a motor now & was leaning toward a 9.9, but with the speed you get from that 8hp, I think a 7 or 8 will be enough!

8 hp is plenty for one person but not 2 ! Great boat that , made a complaint about some minor thing and they sent me a new one straight away, no charge no return on the old one :) this was Bestway

You have a long shaft engine on a short shaft bolt makes so much difference you need to raise that engine 2 inches from the transom or swap the engine let me know if you do it and see the difference 👍

nice video! question, what size boat is that 8 or 9 foot do you inflate your boat at the when you arrive or tow it. I couldn't tow. I'm picking up a 10 foot dinghy soon. 1.5mm thick

triming your motor down makes u go that much more slower because u are effectively pushing the boat into the water....clever thing to do is put ur fuel tank or anything heavy up or towards the front of the boat

thats true - the cavitating plate must have the same line as the keel from the bottom of your boat...

Hi i have just bought a hydro force 3.3 and put it with a tohatsu 15hp 2 stroke (max hp for the boat) go like stink but i'm getting a lot of water over the transom when i open up 70ish% and over. Do you have any ideas. Thanks Colin

i have a 10ft BRIG rib boat ,,all of them loose air in relation to weather ,,heat expands air ,and the cold deflates them ..i store mine outside in canada put air in every now and then ,to keep the tubes in shape .in the hot summer keep letting some air out ,as they expand ,,look at the you tube vid ,guy doing 76 mph on my brig with a 35hp..crazy
