There should be a 5 year minimum for chases that endanger civilians, or so fast that they endanger police officers.

I wonder if the truck owner in Carson City is watching this live. I've had a car stolen before so I don't know what would be worse... NOT knowing where your car is or seeing it in a high speed chase. My parents owned a tow service in the central valley for about 20 years. I've seen a lot of stolen recoveries in our yard & they're usually in BAD condition & the insurance company will take possession of the reminnants of the vehicle. It's jackballs like this that make insurance premiums sky high for the rest of us.

This was stolen from the Chevy/GMC dealer in Carson City. Likely another Mexican gang member trying to get to Mexico before the truck was reported stolen.

Do vehicles involved in police chases end up with a salvage title afterward? Are they typically sold at auctions for very low prices?
@GTAGrandpa2 күн бұрын
Dude, they had all the time in the world to get away once the chopper lost them. Anyone in a police pursuit present day can use their phone or KZbin to see if theyre on the news. And to also view the chopper’s POV below. I’m sure theyre so in the moment, that’s the last thing theyre thinking about, but it would be a very valuable resource to use if that happened. Now i ha ve no clue how the police found this dude after he disappeared in the buildings below. I’ve seen multiple ppl get away from doing the same exact thing. The news crew had to cut the stream short, so the police didn’t look like they dont know how to do their job. Anyways… tip of advice, if anyone gets in a police chase, first of all, DO NOT RUN. You are putting your life in danger and everyone else’s life around you as well. In an instant your life and anyone else’s around could change just by running a red light and not seeing it. A similar situation happened in orange country a couple weeks ago and my neighbor was killed as a result. She was a half a mile from her house minding her own business until someone ran a light and killed her instantly…. If you do decide to run, then get to LA or under any high rise buildings clustered together immediately. Park the car somewhere, walk down the street looking inconspicuous and blend in with the rest of the pedestrian traffic.
