There is no reason to pursue a motorcycle through red lights at those speeds. Not long ago in Louisiana, two teenage girls were struck and killed by a police officer running a red light pursuing a suspect through an intersection at 90mph. Even with lights and sirens, there is no excuse to run a red that fast. They should have pulled his plate and gotten a warrant from the judge. They got lucky.
