Remove a laser, add tag, and don't be afraid to sneak into fights and use tag only to support an ally with missile. Could use others but sometimes it just best to keep a low profile and not be shot at.

I actually know exactly where those extra nodes from firepower tree should go for maximum efficiency. It is survival tree. Mist Lynx has amazing durability quirks, I actually tend to prioritise shooting arms of the Lynx over legs. With all structure nodes taken each tiny leg has ~70 of total hp. It is easier to leg a heavy mech than Lynx. If light mech has decent durability quirks, the value from survival nodes goes ham. Considering the fact that majority of damage lights take is splash, every hp matters. It matters A LOT. There were countless fights with most components red and all the enemies dead.

Hello Baradul. Good build. You have to try the same, but only srm6 on prime variant. The reason is quirks in arms and omniood bonus give 30% of cooldown. It's quite fast srm6)))

as of today I've started running something similar in the hero, ebon dragoon, using its' stock omnipods with 4 heavy small lasers and 2 srm 4s, I love these kinds of light mechs (doesn't mean I'm good at them though haha)

Scrapping the bottom of the mech stable when you end up featuring an SRM MLX build in QP that used to be a regular feature in FP eons ago.

Mist lynx is the first mech I got 7 kills with. Haven't gotten 8 or higher with anything yet.

I still think the stealth commando with 3 srm2's is better. No jumping or small lasers, but it easily does 700-800 damage since it just never gets focused.

SRM Mist Lynx was enjoyable for me, though I dropped one SRM 2 in favor of more ammo. Also, why is that heatsink on the left side with the hot lasers on the right. Makes no sense to me.

Hardest class, most fun to play. When piloting slow mech I feel that the game plays with me and I have very little say on the flow. There is the right strategy and the other ones. With the fast mechs you can decide what to do among multiple right choices and can change the rules sometimes. PS: This is true for SoloQ. Competitive modes are different kind of fish (bc there is a pre-defined universally agreed-on team battle plan and roles).
