Congrats on having the guts to not shutdown with the A4s hand. You followed your instincts, made the read, and it worked out. Even if it didn't, if you can pull the trigger there and not think about the money, you're ready to be where you are. Only if the roll is appropriate though, of course. Way to go, nice session. Honestly, paying off Dan the way he played that hand and the fact that his advice has made you tons of money, maybe think of it as the real price of his books. Way back when at a MUG during the 2018 series, I was the guy that introduced the double board bomb pot to you and Andrew at the Westgate! You guys reignited my drive to play and put in the work at the game. Thanks for all the hard work you put into these.

Brad, I love your Vlogs, I really do. However as someone who laughs at those who say online poker is “rigged”, I have to say that PKC is extremely suspect. Lets just set aside the fact that they offer “Insurance” which is banked by them for any stack-off runout. The amount of insanity is beyond RNG. No more can I say that this is just variance. If you don’t take insurance you are getting screwed, every time. Personally I refuse to take insurance but the mere fact that they offer is gives incentive for manipulated runouts. I know I sound insane. I know I sound like just another losing player, however I have been playing poker, live and online for 7 years and would never in a million years say sites like ACR or Ignition/Bovada are rigged. This site on the other hand is something else. The math doesn’t play out. I would assume you have played on the site yourself however could not trust the play from your end due to your sponsorship and everything that entails. That isn’t an insult by any means, just a lack of a control. Maybe, I would suggest creating an account not in anyway affiliated with any of your information and sampling it then. Yes, I understand this will take your time and in order to even get the slightest of a verdict you would need to play at least 10,000 hands, but I think you will get a picture before then. I cant even believe I am saying I think a site is rigged. Thats not me. I have seen brutal downswings more than I want to remember in Live and Online, yet the fact remains that most sites in existence are not rigged. At least the cards dealt and the runouts aren’t. I cannot comfortably recommend this site to anyone. To those thinking of registering, I warn you. Its not normal. This is coming from a man who swears by online poker and will laugh at those who thing online poker is rigged. Be aware, try PKC at your own risk.
@BradOwenPoker5 жыл бұрын
I play on PKC all the time and I don't think that because they offer insurance that the game is rigged. I've promoted them for two and a half weeks so if you've been playing on there since I started my deal with them then you haven't put in nearly a large enough sample to make an accusation like that.
@castlehill67175 жыл бұрын
Brad Owen Thank you for responding, you are my favorite Vlogger for many reasons. Coming on 10,000 hands over 2 tables of 1/2/4 and .5/1/2 over the past two weeks. Of course 10,000 hands isn’t necessarily a large sample size as say 100,000 hands, however is not exactly negligible. I can never say for sure, I have no proof of anything other than my own anecdotes over grinding this site over the past weeks. I still believe in giving the benefit of the doubt, and am continuing to play this site for posterity along side of ACR MTT’s and Ignition Cash. The field in PKC is insanely soft for sure, however to say that after these past two weeks that I am not suspicious is an understatement. About the insurance, I am not basing my “hypothesis” (so to speak) solely around it, however does pique curiosity to say the least when it comes to the accusation of the site being rigged. I cannot lie that tying the insurance factor into the accusation does sound similar to those who say “Sites rig the RNG to promote large pots in order to increase rake revenue”, which to me is proven false as far as I have seen. To me so far the entire venture on their end just seems shady. I absolutely cannot say for sure and most competent players know just about every site (that I know of at least) that people accuse of being rigged are in-fact not; the equities end up balancing out in the end over a large enough sample size. Edit: By the way, I am in no way accusing you of any misconduct. To reiterate, I am still playing cash on PKC and will continue to for the time being. I really do hope I am wrong, I am not one to go on a “crusade” just to “win” because I cannot admit I am wrong. I very well may be wrong here. I really hope so because my money is on the line here. It would be nice if there was a way to implement a card catcher/tracker. I absolutely would guinea pig for the better of the players and the site itself. Sorry for writing an essay.

Great video! Had my heart pumping at times haha. I’m pretty new to poker and been playing online poker for a few weeks. Been really diving in to the cash games on TV also and loving it. What’s an easy to understand, beginner book that’s a must read to get an edge for improving my game? So far I’ve been focusing on seeking solid or likely preflop hands, paying attention to aggressiveness, positioning, and being selective. Although the poker app is not for real money, I’d like to think it’s a great way to improve so I can one day take the leap and pop my poker table cherry with a live cash game. Good stuff! Nice win. Take care.
