What an unbelievable video mate. Thank you for putting it on there. In all honestly I was shocked by it. Not because of the loss - I've watched people on here lose far more. Watching Hypa, Bandit and RockNRolla - Find it relaxing and entertaining for the most part. That being said, Hypa seems a good soul but clearly has serious addictions with drink and compulsive gambling. I've never watched Bandit or Rolla and thought these guys are risking way more than they can afford with Hypa - This was different - Its clear to see he was not comfortable with the losses.

Ugh. That guy with the Russian (I think?) username who sat down on your last big hand totally screwed you over. If he hadn't sat down, you would've had blackjack on the first hand and gotten 17 on the second hand, and the dealer would have busted. I'm gutted for you. It does seem like you're trying to chase losses from previous sessions, which is a bad approach to take to gambling, although I realize it's tough not to do that. What's happened before has happened, and if you can get a nice 2-3k win on this balance, that's a great success. If you need a break to regain some perspective on money and chill out, that's totally understandable. I don't know about other people who watch your table games sessions, but at least for me, you don't need to play this high to make it exciting. I just enjoy watching you play table games and banter with your audience.
@davidperdue39046 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure the dealer would have busted. The dealer would have started with a 7 and a 4 for 11 total. Then assuming Hypa hits the 14 on his second hand and takes the 3, the dealer would have drawn the Ace for 12 and then the Jack for 22.
@davidperdue39046 жыл бұрын
Ah, you're right! I was totally dismissing the down card when playing out the situation. She would have pulled the 9 for a 20. So just a small profit for Hypa on the hand, but still brutal that the guy costs him that much money.

I watch your videos religiously hypalinx and felt compelled to comment for the first time. This was painful to watch as it took me back to a dark place as a former gambling addict. I sensed at the end you were too stressed and wanted it just to all end, either with you winning and doubling your money to £8K, or losing. At least then it's all over. I won't patronise you by telling about the dangers of gambling. I am worried for you though about the stake increase. I started gambling through sports betting. My first bet was a fiver on a tennis game and I won and thought this was easy money. Towards the end, I was logging onto bet365 at 5am and the only bet available to me was Ausiie rules football. I bet £8K on a game picking the shorter odds. I didn't know the rules and I didn't even know if I was winning from the weird scoring. That's when I quit. Gambling was consuming my life. Some people are lucky and can place small stakes and be content with that and enjoy a flutter. Others, like me, need to up the stakes to keep the gambling rush. I worry you too fall into the latter camp. You are a good bloke (apart from the really annoying LOLs) and I would just say to you think about your nature and what you may be capable of and the dangers. Best of luck whichever way you go.
