In this video, I look at two cases including one from Connecticut in which a woman claims to have had several bizarre experiences involving everything from UFOs to poltergeists. In the second, a couple in Michigan finds their evening walk interrupted by an unexpected visitor. Afterwards, I ramble on about nothing in particular.

I also had a weird reaction to a possible sighting. Back in the 90's, I was taking an evening walk with my mom and my young twin daughters. It was already dark, and I looked up to see what I thought was a flock of geese in v formation. But what came out of my mouth was a terrified, "what's that". By the time I had spoken, it disappeared. My mom said the terror in my voice scared her to death.

I talked to what people in the 50s called Nords or Ashtar Command for about 6 hours in my bedroom one day. That is why I became interested in this and similar topics. Thouh very episodic and context-meaningful, that's not nearly the end of it for my first hand experiences. But I might be accused of being a really shoddy, amateur occultist as well as a casual Fortean. Anyway, I write this because I was amused, in a way as to be endeared to you, Mr. Black, by the genuine reticence in your voice when you admitted to honestly something MILLIONS and MILLIONS of people just on this continent experience yearly. Yet even you, and, yes, me I admit, stutter a bit because...No one wants to be a wild-eyed UFO guy. The rational, cautious researcher or aesthete, sure. But...No one really knows what all this phenomena is, definitionally or qualitatively. So same club here. Remember, Keel was a debunker and simple journalist, and he had synchronicities and was pursued by MIBs and orbs and all that "Control System v. Coincidence Control Agency" stuff. For the record, I hardcore believe it real, and even more comprehensible, if we could grasp it for a moment without it being crafty, but it's real. Honestly, my impression is that we're always in The Goblin Universe but only notice it when we're ready or it wants to be noticed.

Mr. Black: I rarely reply directly to a KZbinr as I usually don't see their replies and don't get a chance to respond.. But your commentary concerning strange goings-on in your life following your activity struck a chord with me. It's not unusual at all for people to be involved with the 'paranormal' after taking an interest in it or, indeed, even having witnessed it. I witnessed a UFO up close in the early 1980s and paranormal happenings have followed me on and off ever since. I'm careful to try not to draw the attention of things after an incident I had in Everett Washington in 2019 or so. It happened after I sat doodling little funny images of aliens and flying saucers. It doesn't mean you're going crazy or thinking about it too much. Something is indeed drawn to people that think about these things. You are not alone.

100% agree, if you focus on this topic weird things will start happening. Around 2014 I dove in hard to the aliens/ufo topic trying to find truths. Then poltergeist activity exploded. It reminds me of the double slit experiment where if you watch, the wave becomes a particle, but if you don't watch it stays a wave. Intent seems to be the key here as well.

As someone very interested in the paranormal, UFOs and cryptids but also someone quite skeptical I really think it takes all types. We need the skeptics and even need the debunkers in some cases to keep an honest inquiry. It can be easy to be too credulous but also easy to fall to the other side and become incurious and closed minded. The important thing to me is to stay curious but skeptical at the same time, the stories tend to be much more fascinating when viewed this way.

One cold winter night I walked to the mailbox. In returning, I glanced up into the southern sky and saw a large half circle of white lights low to the ground but in the distance. It looked like a rainbow of white lights. I was confused and stood in awe for a minute as I knew there was nothing in that direction to cause that. I hurried back inside because I was freezing and kind of numb from what I just saw. If it wasn't so cold, I would have run back out with my camera. Another time in the middle of the night I was looking out my bedroom window and saw in the empty lot behind me a basketball size bright white light slowly go from the ground straight up into the sky until it disappeared. Both of these things still bother me. What did I see?

The digging and researching and APPEARANCE of sparse reports give us an illusory impression these things are rare. I think modernity makes inhuman and even anti-reality demands on us to be "rational" as well. These experiences, and whatever objective reality behind them, seem to be almost banal in much of the world and history. I love that we get to be Nancy Drew about it, and giddy for the mystery and strangeness of it all, but it's probably the case that we're rediscovering something, for lack of a better word, normal. The Spirit World, again, for lack of other phrasing. And my experience has been manyof these things are profoundly strange but also feel somehow eerily familiar. Like I'm waking up from a really dismal but vivid dream and remembering real reality.

It's easy to call something that scares us evil, but it's very likely that it is so far beyond our world, and what we know, that these things are just too much for us. Many have made their peace with the Phenomena. Whitley Strieber comes to mind. I've heard many long term bigfoot experiencers say similar things about those beings as are said about so called ETs. If these things are from another dimension, as many serious investigators think they might be, is it any wonder we can't understand their behavior and some resort to labeling them as "evil"?

When me, a friend, and a little girl were watching a saucer come down near us, we didn't panic. We just sat there and watched it. If I'm in control of my mind, I'm not going to sit there and watch it! And remember, we are given authority in the name of Jesus Christ to command things. I'm like you, it seems the more you look into the unknown, the more it looks back. But we have authority and control in the name of Jesus, don't forget to exercise it. "That doesn't look plastic" sounds to me like you were reflexively responding to an implanted thought/suggestion that didn't make sense to you. Ditto for the lady about the floating wolf. It's like her/your mind was rejecting a foreign concept being planting there as a "cover story" intended to be too crazy for her/you to want to share it with others. If so, that's clever work on "their" part - getting you to doubt yourself from the very first second rather than retconing her/your memory after-the-fact.

Its called confirmation bias. If you focus a lot on studying the paranormal and its alwaus on your brain, you'll start noticing things that are weird and automatically go to the "paranormal" route. If you happened to not be studying the paranormal and this same thing happened, you likely would've found a better explanation. Its just like how noises in the night are scarier after a slasher movie, because that slasher is fresh on our brains.

I have a theory as to why you have strange encounters after covering these topics in your videos. You've heard the quote "What you look for, looks for you." Being we are in an energetic universe, the frequency you are tuning into will tune back to you one way or another. Secondly, you are reaching a lot of people with your videos. So you are opening minds to various possibilities. For you to experience the strangeness related to the stories you are reporting afterwards could mean this is "their" way of confirming the story with you, or to simply give you an experience of your own, to configure or affirm your spiritual beliefs on these topics and how you present them to your audience.

If I may offer an explanation as to why things may happen after you research and post. I’m not an expert by any means, but I’ve had a lot of similar experiences to the people in your videos. It’s important to remember that our thoughts and words are VERY powerful. So much so, that even speaking of these beings may have the ability to call them fourth in some way. Do you have a spiritual cleansing routine? Any protection? You speaking of them will alert them of your presence. I always tell my friends that if they experience anything supernatural, that it’s important to address the behavior and NOT the entity (unless you are experienced). Good luck and be safe ❤

I seem to recall some instances of dreams in which I or other people in them said things not quite synced or only tenuously related to what was happening in those dreams. That’s what the detail in the Burt Lake entity reminded me of, along with Mr. Black’s recollection of his own sighting in his friend’s car. Perhaps these experiences briefly stimulate a portion of the witness’ brain normally associated with the subconscious.

When you tune into this phenomenon, it tunes into you. I have so many experiences, synchronicities, etc. I've probably mentioned here before, but here's something that happened back in 2008: I was hanging out with friends at a 24-hour Starbucks (in downtown Houston, Tx) probably around 8-9pm, and I brought a green laser pen with me. I was beaming it around onto buildings and street signs, and then half-joked about signaling aliens. One friend and I decided to go to my house (which was miles away) and watch some TV. Finally, around 3am, he's ready to head home. So we walk outside and within seconds an orange light flashes above us 7-8 times. It was a clear night, no clouds, and this light was right above us. It was like they were saying, "hey, we saw your laser!" I didn't feel scared at all, it felt like a kind reply. Was it aliens? Who knows, but what else could it have been?

Other channels cover the same thing -- I've heard about Montauk, Elisa Lam, Yuba 5, Manhattan Project, etc til I practucally know them all by heart. Yes, they cover these stories VERY well and detailed, but your channel has content I've never heard before. I even learned about Lon Strickler's channel thru you, and I absolutely love his channel. Next thing I plan to do is get some Albert Rosales material. So, thank you for your uoloads, from the content to the production. It is superb ❤

You’re not the first to notice the connection between study/work in the paranormal field and strange phenomena. Your "water tower" story is eerily similar to an experience of my own from 2009. My brother and I were driving through a wooded area one evening when we spotted a large green light hanging above a side road. At the time, my only comment was, "Huh, they installed a new streetlight there." My brother and I didn't even really consider how strange it was at the time; only about an hour later or so did we start asking ourselves what we actually saw. Obviously, there was no streetlight anywhere near the location. I find it rather fascinating that these UFOs seem to sometimes produce this "aura of normalcy" that prevents serious consideration of an object until some time has passed.

The way she prayed out loud after hearing the voices on the roof reminds me of this one time I saw something I thought was a UFO in the sky. It was 3 years ago, and I was with my dad visiting a building site where he worked. It's a pretty rural place but there's a highway nearby so it's not completely remote. It was getting late and dark. In the distance, I saw what I thought was a drone at first, but then I noticed that it made no noise at all. It was a slowly-moving silent white light. Now, I am a very religious person and have heard of cases where people were able to chase off UFOs by praying to Jesus, so in an instant I prayed something akin to "In the name of our Lord Jesus, show me your true nature". I muttered it under my nose so that my dad would not hear it and think that I was a nut. In an instant, as I finished saying this prayer, the light changed its color from white to red and flew slowly away into the dark sky. Even if that thing was a drone of sorts, it was very weird that it changed it's color and started to retreat just as I finished praying.

I believe we are given authority in this world and beyond when we give ourselves to God in Jesus Christ. "If you command a mountain be thrown into the sea, and believe, it shall be done for you." I like the idea of commanding the objects that if they not be of Jesus, they should leave. It works, ufos, spirits, etc. And command them, in the name of Jesus.

I may be in the minority here but I'm thinking the reason they fly away when you start praying is because they know that's what humans tend to do in moments of extreme fear. So in a way they feel bad for scaring you so they just disappear?
