I get confused on when you used the #1 guard, why didn’t you go to the .5 guard to take the line out or were you just faded down.. I see so many different ways, that’s why I get confused

When you doing a taper fade when you go open with no guard then you close it you always use the corners of the blade when it’s close with no guard right

If you know what you are doing this doesn’t seem too hard even for a self cut. It’s basically like a temp fade but with the hair on top. So you need to know how to make the transition between the hair on top and the sides and how to do a temp fade.
