Bakit nangyari yung coup d'etat sa Burma? Simple, the commander-in-chief title is neither vested on Pres. Win Myint nor Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, its vested on Defence Chief Min Aung Hlaing. Ganyan din nangyari sa Egypt noong Arab Spring, nag-coup d'etat si Defence Minister Abdel Fattah el-Sisi laban kay Pres. Mohamed Morsi kasi naka-vested kay el-Sisi yung commander-in-chief title, now si el-Sisi yung Prez ng Egypt. Atsaka hindi kaya ni Aung San Suu Kyu na mag-push ng reforms para ma-limit ang power ng military which is meddling with Myanmar's politics ever since 1962 considering yung tatay niya founder ng military nila and when she was Counsellor, she shield Burma Army from int'l condemnation and criticism for their role for Rohingya genocide.
