High Tide Floods Road in Looe

This is the old railway bridge road. When the high tides come it floods. There were some kayakers and two paddle boarders this time.

Only on the really high spring tides. When the storms came it went over the railway lines. They often cancel the train if it is a high tide.

If you follow the river up, it's about halfway between Looe Bridge and Sandplace railway station.

Found it! My family and I stayed at looe caravan park a couple of years ago. I took them back after going there as a teenager. Polperro is lovely also.

lunar high tide?
