Petite Sirah (aka Durif) is like Syrah (a Rhone varietal) but the grapes are much smaller. It’s intensely purple and tannic. Concanon Winery in Livermore brought the grape to California. If you’re interested check it out.

Sounds like a good one, I'm going to get some. Petite Sirah is not a wine that gets chosen a lot , It's a good wine, so I can imagine dark fruits, pepper, chocolate on the palate . Nice job guys great vidoe. Thank you Scott, thank you Bart.

Petite Sirah is a crossing of Syrah & pelourisin - called Durif in France.
